Found this on drudge so I am leaning that it is real. Guns cannot be controlled...there are too many now and if the criminals have guns then everyone else should have one. The problem with guns is there is no requirement on safe handling...in Ohio we have to have 12 hours of training to get a concealed carry but in PA you don't have to have any. I learned so much in that class and I am going to take more to be able to safely utilize the tool that is a gun.

Although I do agree it is idiotic to test a shotgun in a urban area. There are gun ranges for a reason.

When a pack of loose dogs show up in my yard, it happens from time to time, I pull out the shotgun & fire off a couple of shots. The stranger dogs run off & mine run for the porch. No big deal.

I live 2 hours from Baltimore in rural VA and I can legally shoot a shotgun or a full auto AK-47 in my backyard. The guy who lives on the farm behind me likes to blow shit up with tannerite and a full auto at 12:15 am. lol! But he doesn't do it often enough to become a nuissance. No one calls the fucking cops on each other. If we have a dispute we can talk to each other, shake hands afterwards and go have a beer like civilized neighbors.

I agree, he shouldn't have discharged a firearm in a suburban neighborhood where it's illegal. The lots are too small to do it safely. He should have used some common sense and gone to a gun range or a friends house out in the sticks where it's legal.
