Why *Jesus Christ said: But the greatest of these Faith, Hope and Love...Is Love.

So what does that really mean..Why is LOVE the greatest...?

1st Corinthians 13:13
And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

GOD gave us the Ten Commandments:
GOD"S COMMANDMENTS ARE ETERNAL......

Let's take these:

12 “Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the Lord your God is giving you.

So if I really LOVE my Mother and Father and I am telling them off, refusing to listen to them as a child, or abusing them when they get to old to care for themselves? Is that LOVE?

13 “You shall not murder. Do I really LOVE someone when I kill them for gain and profit, or decide to kill my baby inside or outside of the womb?

14 “You shall not commit adultery. DO I really LOVE my husband or wife when I look at porn, cheat on them and leave them for another person?

15 “You shall not steal. Do I really LOVE my neighbor if I steal from work? if I steal from the market? if I steal from my friends cookie jar?

16 “You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor.
DO I really LOVE my neighbor when I am slandering them all over the Internet, my school or workplace and telling lies about them?

The point is if you really LOVE someone, you do not want to displease them, you do not want to dis-obey them, you do not want to hurt them..


SO the 1st Set of Commandments are these:
And God spoke all these words:

2 “I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery.

3 “You shall have no other gods before[a] me.


If you really LOVE GOD you do you want to offend him? Will you LOVE GOD before you love your family, your money, your job, your spouse, your life???....


If you don't really LOVE GOD..You will train your mind to say...Well I am basically a good person and GOD is tolerant so what is the big deal if I sin here or there....once in awhile...

THAT IS SATAN'S DECEPTION...

However GOD in his infinite Mercy and Grace found a way for *US* in our human carnal depraved condition to be reconciled to him and that is Jesus Christ....

WHILE WE WERE SINNERS CHRIST DIED FOR US...


So if we really LOVE GOD we will want to do his will and honor him not as PERFECTED BEINGS, but as Born Again Believers who are guided by the Spirit, and when we fail at times, the SPIRIT does not abandoned us..The Spirit of Christ Jesus forgives us, and we pull ourselves back up and keep walking twoard that *NARROW GATE*

THAT IS LOVE....THE LOVE GOD WANTS US TO KNOW....
