People that can sit, and read for hours on end, a lame, fictional book, about love, and an young girl's journey across Germany....that's not weird? What good is that? Plus, even though the 'normal' might be smart...they are left with 0% common sense. Just a head with brains, wearing a asshat. What the hell do they offer society? My opnion, the mental health field is royally screwed in the ass. The stuff they preach religion...Though it could prob. be rolled and smoked. |

Quoting: KarinZa Message me if you need help finding any replacement foods or recipes that are kid-friendly....i.e. Spelt flour when you need flour, as well as breads, cereals, pastas, etc. please share some recipes...ideas I've learned to bake with lots of oat flour and some rice flour in place of wheat. You can skip the gums when making cakes, cookies, pancakes. Once you get used to the flours you don't need xantham gum fir consistency. I love gluten free now. Good job finding his real problem! |

I can also tell you from experience that my kids act like defiant little crazy people when they consume even trace amounts of food dyes. We just don't let them have them...period. No dyes...no way. They actually don't want them anyway. They are 5, and already know. If something has food dye, they just tell people "I'm allergic to red dye." |

There is nothing that imbalances the body more than white sugar. It also makes many kids hyperactive. Some food allergies don't show up in blood tests. Do the elimination diet. Just eat "real" food. Stay away from plastic food. Back to basics. Cut out gluten -- American wheat is genetically modified ALL OF IT!! Even so-called "organic" wheat: GMO. Most mothers are not aware and don't even care about their children. They're just satisfied being told what to do. |

He's not hyper, but insanely inattentive. I was pressured in to medicating him when he was younger, but the side effects were really bad, so after trying several types of drugs, I had enough. I took him off the pills and started homeschooling. Quoting: Oubliette I've still had lots of issues with his inattentive behaviors, so after doing some research online, I had him tested for food allergies. It turns out that he's allergic to corn, wheat, soy, peanuts, and tree nuts. None of the allergies are severe, which is why he wasn't diagnosed earlier. He hasn't eaten any of the food he's allergic to for 5 days, and I'm already seeing an improvement in his behavior. So why don't doctors test for this kind of thing in pediatric patients who present behavior issues? Why are pills the first treatment offered? so what do you guys eat? pretty much carb free? I have twins with ADHD. very inattentive and I did not like nor them the meds...they are not on any anymore...we home school too. Rice, and breads made with other flours that aren't wheat, potatoes, those are carbs that he can have. But since he didn't test positive to eggs or milk he can have those. I did spend $70 at Whole Foods for 2 bags of wheat free baking flour, rice bread, rice tortillas, and some wheat/soy free cookies. It was ridiculous! Be very careful at whole farce. They have sold out to monsanto so you won't know when you are getting GMOs and their corresponding pesticides (roundup). |

She was a royal hellian during potty training. we were training her with jelly beans which is full of food coloring and corn syrup or HFCS's. She would not listen, would not do anything. would run around throwing things all over the place. Spanks didn't work, nothing worked til we switched her over to frozen berries for treats. It was like night and day, it was awesome. We also got her in for food allergy testing, and found she was allergic to a walnuts, and cashews. Now we are very careful, what we give her. |

Side note: If you ever have another kid who needs potty training, forget rewards. Just let the kid run around naked for a few days. When they crap or pee on the floor a few times, they realize real quickly that the stuff coming out of them has to go somewhere else. My kids were potty trained in less than a week doing this. And others have had similar success with this method. |

My oldest son has always been diagnosed with ADHD, and Aspergers, I had him tested for allergies and turns out he is allergic to corn, soy, wheat, gluten, and peanuts. I noticed a huge difference when he started cutting out those things from his diet. He is more focused, less angry, more stable. I think perhaps these ADHD and Aspergers symptoms could be an intolerance from GMO related products. What do you think? |

Had several allergies, all went away in the years. Please research the connection between allergies and trauma. And research for ADHD/ADD and PTSD connection. In the short-term buy: Vitamin B (all sorts of vit B / B12!!)-capsules, Fishoil-capsules, Rhodiola rosea extracts You son is allright. I bet there is something he can hyperfocus on. His brain is still in development. Every case is different. It is not an disorder. It is important that he gets a good connection to himself. Another think is: Watch out for "abuse" by others. Other children, etc. |
