Belief in the Illuminati = delusions of persecution
If you believe some group called the Illuminati is secretly ruling the earth, then you're probably a schizo.

Of course, lots of people believe in "god", which is just magical thinking combined with delusions of grandeur when they believe such a being singles them out for affection. chuckle

It's not really a secret my friend. Wouldn't really label the people in power as the Illuminati, but if you think that the world we live in is completely devoid of any limiting entities on a global scale you are mistaken.

I kind of don't even know where to begin, so I'm not going too. If you think that there aren't people out there who are happy staying in top, through any means then you obviously haven't left your house much.

Another crazy thing is that lots of people think a scraggly old jew who died 2000 years ago was somehow more than a human and gives a shit about them personally, millenia after he passed away. What's worse, these fanatics completely disregard evidence that the story they so revere came from earlier stories.

Re: Belief in the Illuminati = delusions of persecution
Let me put it this way. We live in a system where you grow up whilst getting an education, such that you can acquire a well paying job to by material objects, potentially more than others, to make yourself feel good. You are made to believe that money and materialism is the goal, and is propogated by a society that endorses endless consumerism. Competition is supported by both school and media, to instill the belief that being better than others is the goal.

You know those people who decide what tv shows you watch?

You know those guys who make up the school curriculum?

You know all those people at the top that potentiate the paradigm of this type of lifestyle?

I'm not really saying that you are a slave to these people.

What I'm saying is you are a slave to a system that makes you nothing more than a slave.

All those things you mentioned are means by which some people try to rule through deception. They can't directly, physically force you to go against your will and still avoid karma. That's not illuminati. That's just being a bunch of assmunchers.

Re: Belief in the Illuminati = delusions of persecution
Maybe the coined term of "illuminati" serves a purpose of waking up the mass population to a higher level of consciousness. Whether intentional or not. The inspiration of these songs/words serves a higher purpose. Just listen to the words of the majority of music out there. The one and only message it brings across is to WAKE UP. You're responsible for yourself. Stop feeding the beast with unnecessary mind chatter and false beliefs. No one's out to get you. We're living in a heaven right now, but everyone's too asleep to realize it. [link to www.truthcontest.com]
