They won't even recognize you were just there
and you will be treated much more respectfully.

Try it anywhere.

Sometimes I walk my dog in 'work-slacks/tie' clothes,
sometimes in 'work-around-the-yard' clothes.
Even the social interaction I experience then is tempered by the garb I don.
