Re: Moon is missing?...
Same thing here in Florida. Last week it was so unnaturally bright that it looked like the sun. For 3 nights now there are tons of stars but can't find the moon. It is 7 am and sunrise now and half moon super bright is all that is visible. Why is the moon only visible in the mornings now? weird.

Please tell us you don't vote. Are you that fucking stupid? Oh yeah - you said you're in Florida.

How long have you ever looked at the night sky? Do you think that the moon is always visible from sundown to sun up through all of the stages of its phases? GMAFB!

Lol, not all Florida people are like that, the moon is right where she is supposed to be. Enjoyed a few nights of viewing her through the scope, now I'm glad she isn't so high, got better viewing conditions.

The moon rises approx 45 minutes later each night. Did you take that into account? Was there a cloud bank to your east?

Re: Moon is missing?...
Late last week there was a big a** full moon out with plenty of moon light and then the next night there was zero moon on a dark, clear night. And then the day after which was the third night it was a dark night at first (on a clear dark night with stars and airplaines) and then later all of a sudden a big a** bright full moon again smack dab in the middle of the sky (with plenty of moon light)! The moon has been playing tricks on us I say, I say!!!

Re: Moon is missing?...
Actually soccer mom is right. For a few days the moon was front and center, very bright, and around 10 is when I saw it. Then more recent nights at the same time in a clear sky it was missing. I always look at the sky before I go to bed. I didn't record it all but I remember thinking it was odd.

Re: Moon is missing?...
something is really strange:

1) the moon is missing or is weird (tilted, too bright so on)

2) the sun is too bright and more white

3) last but not the least when people talk about these things that should be obviously bullshits strangely lot of shills enter in the tread and we all know that where are too many shills also there's lot of true to cover up...

The Moon rises and sets about 50 minutes later each day as it progresses through its phases. Always has. Since we're now at last quarter it is rising around midnight and setting around noon. When new it rises around 6 am and sets around 6 pm. At first quarter it will rise around noon and set around midnight and then back to full when it rises around 6 pm and sets around 6 am. On all those I say "around" because the actual rise and set times vary based on your location, time zone, daylight savings time, terrain, etc. Still a good rule of thumb. So yes, it is normal to not be seeing it around 10pm at this time. It hasn't risen yet. Don't we go through this nearly every month?

Re: Moon is missing?...
I have noticed this myself, and am not quite sure what to think. I understand that the moon is supposed to rise later night to night, but even accounting for this, something just feels off lately. I went jogging last week, moon is full and bright. Next night, I jog around the same time-nothing. No moon, clear sky, can see every star. I even went back outside later to check, and still nothing.

Re: Moon is missing?...
This is all totally normal. There is a lot of weird stuff going on making people actually start observing their environment, and it's sad but I think people have just never noticed obvious stuff like this before. I'm sure you've noticed the moon being out during the day before, did you think it just stayed out all night and day, 24/7? You can look up your local moonrise/set times. You'll see it is indeed getting later and later each night, and the moon will be visible during the day. This is all totally normal. I'm sure you've heard the term "new moon" before.
