Hong Kong reports first suspected case of H7N9A seven-year-old Hong Kong girl is being tested for the H7N9 flu virus after she returned from Shanghai and showed flu-like symptoms, officials said on Friday in the city's first suspected case. [ link to crofsblogs.typepad.com] Quoting: Wash Do they know how it's spread yet? Shanghai and HK are both densely populated--it will be interesting to see how this plays out. I heard earlier that Shanghai officials ordered a city-wide live poultry cull. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 32010558 they found it in pigeons, it's already out in wild bird populations...shit Quoting: SpiderJones I think it was pigeons that they eat, that they sell live in their market. But yeah, this could prove to be very, very bad. Quoting: scorpio66 eew
