How remarkable for those resurrected at his death to recognize the victory over death then.

Many have chosen simply to ignore the central issue of the resurrection. Others have tried to explain it away through various theories. But the historical evidence just can't be discounted.

I'm just interested in Resurrection Sunday for now. I was going to just compare the four gospels and try to come up with a sequence of events.

20 Early on Sunday morning, while it was still dark, Mary from Magdala went to the tomb. She saw that the stone had been removed from the tomb’s entrance. 2 So she ran to Simon Peter and the other disciple, whom Jesus loved. She told them, “They have removed the Lord from the tomb, and we don’t know where they’ve put him.”

3 So Peter and the other disciple headed for the tomb. 4 The two were running side by side, but the other disciple ran faster than Peter and came to the tomb first. 5 He bent over and looked inside the tomb. He saw the strips of linen lying there but didn’t go inside.

6 Simon Peter arrived after him and went into the tomb. He saw the strips of linen lying there. 7 He also saw the cloth that had been on Jesus’ head. It wasn’t lying with the strips of linen but was rolled up separately. 8 Then the other disciple, who arrived at the tomb first, went inside. He saw and believed. 9 They didn’t know yet what Scripture meant when it said that Jesus had to come back to life. 10 So the disciples went back home.

You do understand, do you not, that this is a figurative description of the revelation of the memories of previous lives, experienced by some of the followers of Jesus at the time of the crucifixion?

There is no historical evidence of any such thing occurring in the space-time reality.

How long did Jesus stay on earth after his resurrection? We know from the Bible that Jesus ascended 10 days before Pentecost and that He was crucified during the Passover. So, that would mean he was on earth approximately 40 days before His ascension.

What happened to the people that came out of the tombs?

How did the ones who 'saw' this know that they were "holy"?

Why were there no women who came out of the tombs?

Explain the reply of Jesus to the Sadducees in which he specifically repudiates the Egyptian 'god of the dead' doctrine of a physical raising of a dead body from the grave.
