Maybe this will be a blessing in disguise for you. Stay home with your child and let your husband support you all. The little extras you do earn(which seems to be not really needed) is not worth the stress of that job. Your child is more important. And so are you and your husband. A happy family is worth more than extra money.

Put together a budget and stick to it. Get rid of non-essentials and put the money in savings. Get an emergency stash of at least a few months. Then you can save for extras like vacations. Differentiate needs from wants. My family has a three month hiatus from all spending that is not essential. We will be able to build up a good savings from that. It just sounds like that job is not worth it due to the stress and the type of kids you are around. Maybe go to a private school and see if they hire subs.
