Maybe this will be a blessing in disguise for you. Stay home with your child and let your husband support you all. The little extras you do earn(which seems to be not really needed) is not worth the stress of that job. Your child is more important. And so are you and your husband. A happy family is worth more than extra money.

For instance, when a family member died a while back, we had to travel across country to the funeral. Because of my "stash" gave us an extra thousand for all our traveling expenses, and hotel. BTW, I can see where you would want to attend the funeral but that is a want and not a need. The world would not end if you didn't go. There is always the telephone and Skype to talk to relatives and express condolences. Again, you have to put you, your child, and your husband above everyone or everything else. If it is taking away from your families peace then it needs to go.
