By all the other Christian denominations, you mean the ones that DON'T worship idols or pray to Mary and the Saints rather than pray to Jesus and God? Or maybe you mean the one's that don't prey on little boys and esteem one human man, the Pope, above God. I'm confused...

OP, thank you so much...my husband and I were recently baptized into the Coptic Orthodox church.

Less than a month ago.

He was born Jewish.

The vision of Mary that appeared in Zeitoun, Cairo for 2 years ( around 1968 ) was filmed many, many times.

Hundreds of thousands of people saw the figure walking on top of the church in Zeitoun.

Unlike other appearances of Mary, this vision was visible to all who came to see.

Only the Orthodox Church recieves the light of God every year during Easter, not catholics and nor the other christian denominations. It is said that this heavenly light doesn't burn, that's why many people are not afraid to put this fire on their faces and hands.

You aren't shedding any light calling it "easter", it translates to mean Great Day. Because it was the day he returned, it's supposed to be frightening, not with colored eggs and bunnies like the easter people.

So basically, two catholics from New Mexico, USA, husband and wife, wanted to become Orthodox. They went to a Church and the priest told them that orthodox baptism is done by three immersions or just by reading exorcisms and Chrismation. The wife chose the standard baptism (the three times immersion) and her soul became white clean and glowing like an angel. This was captured on camera.

Everybody should know that Orthodox Christianity is the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church established by Jesus Christ and his Apostles almost 2,000 years ago. The true religion that remained unchanged. All the other christian denominations are false and will lead to perdition.

The OP called it "Easter" so that you would understand.
The Christian Orthodox do not call it that amongst themselves.
They call it the Resurrection Service, or just 'Resurrection' or Pascha(in Greek) for passover.
The light that burns, but does not consume.
Christian Orthodoxy is pretty cool.

Thank you for sharing the photos. I've been to several Russian Orthodox and Greek Orthodox services, baptisms and marriages; I've always found them very beautiful expressions of faith, lovely to behold and take part in.

Those photos are fake.

You've got a woman glowing like she has a fluorescent tube shoved up her and no-one in any of the pics are paying her the slightest bit of attention.

Fake.

Those symbols and traditions have nothing to do with real life. God doesn't work through inanimate objects, lots of people were killed by God for that.
