Or maybe you mean the one's that don't prey on little boys and esteem one human man, the Pope, above God. I'm confused... |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 25090473 Dude, Orthodox Christianity and Catholic Christianity are not the same. As I stated before, Orthodox Christianity is the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church established by Jesus Christ and his Apostles almost 2,000 years ago and has remained unchanged since then. In 1054, when the Great Schism occured, catholics added significant and pagan changes to the original dogma and they separated from the true christianity to form their own religion with "holy" Popes above God and other heresies. Less than a month ago. He was born Jewish. This will make for wonderful reading shortly. Ignore the people who mock. The vision of Mary that appeared in Zeitoun, Cairo for 2 years ( around 1968 ) was filmed many, many times. Hundreds of thousands of people saw the figure walking on top of the church in Zeitoun. Unlike other appearances of Mary, this vision was visible to all who came to see. Lots of footage from that time available on you tube. It is worth looking at. Thanks again OP. I'm just trying to show people here the original Church of God, because we are living in the last days and more souls need to be saved. Eastern Orthodoxy is the majority religion in countries like Romania, Greece and Russia. In Romania, we have Saints living in caves and they are capable of doing great miracles. They renounced material life and dedicated their lifes praising God. They only eat herbs or unbaked bread and drink water from natural sources like rivers or rain. I have seen your priests, doing all things for money. Disgusting behaviour, am I saying all Orthodox are wrong? not at all, but we should judge a tree by its fruit and the Orthodox prefer to spend money on new beautiful churches and expensive robes. "Ye are like whited sepulchers, all clean without but within ye are full of deads means bones and all corruption!" Not much has changed from those times to these times. Come out of Babylon! Do not follow a church, follow GOD! We are living in the last days where money makes the world go round and Satan claims the throne of God just like in the old times. Nowadays most of the city priests don't have any grace at all, but the orthodox sacraments which are made in the Holy Church are still saving souls. The Divine Orthodox Liturgy which is held every sunday is cleansing for the soul even if it's made by greedy priests. In my country we have a saying: "Do what the priest says, not what he does." Not all orthodox priests are greedy. We have priests and monks living in the country side and they have the grace of God upon their heads. You just have to search and find them. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 28167778 United States 04/02/2013 03:53 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The closest thing to the very beginning of Christianity. . . St. Mark the Apostle brought Christianity to Alexandria, Egypt, shortly after Christ's resurrection. Coptic priests must be married. It is a gorgeous way to understand God. And let's be honest. People like a religion, or don't like it, because of the people they meet who live by that religion. If the people are fakes, you will probably not be drawn to their religion. in some cases, God pulls you to a church. My husband wanted so badlly to check out the temple (Jewish) on a certain road near our house. He really wanted to visit it...drove me crazy. So one day we drove out.....it was not Jewish at all, not Messianic Jewish, but Coptic. And there is nothing quite like it. stmaryde.com is the website. May God be with us all amen. |

I never heard of this type of baptism. Where can you find the words they use in English? The Roman Catholic rite I think is (using water) I Baptize thee in the Name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Knowing how to baptize is important when many lives could be lost in a WWIII. BTW, I was taught that even a pagan can baptize an infant using water and the simple baptism rite. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 28353201 United States 04/06/2013 03:57 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Hey guys, check out this miracle during an orthodox baptism: Quoting: Cr1ogeN So basically, two catholics from New Mexico, USA, husband and wife, wanted to become Orthodox. They went to a Church and the priest told them that orthodox baptism is done by three immersions or just by reading exorcisms and Chrismation. The wife chose the standard baptism (the three times immersion) and her soul became white clean and glowing like an angel. This was captured on camera. [link to 3.bp.blogspot.com] [link to 1.bp.blogspot.com] [link to 4.bp.blogspot.com] [link to 4.bp.blogspot.com] Everybody should know that Orthodox Christianity is the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church established by Jesus Christ and his Apostles almost 2,000 years ago. The true religion that remained unchanged. All the other christian denominations are false and will lead to perdition. Source: [link to www.strange24-7.com] Interesting guy to follow: [link to www.youtube.com] The Orthodox church recognizes baptisms of the Catholic and Lutheran churches...I don't understand why they need a second baptism. I know, because I'm orthodox and I just converted my wife (who was baptized Lutheran). That's where my contention ends. I totally agree that all the other christian denominations are man-made delusions. |
