For now i will have to take the word of those with established credentials who are not afraid or ashamed to reveal their identity who have proved trustworthy in the past, and NONE of them agree with you. That's pretty funny coming from someone who calls himself "Anonymous Astrophysicist". A voice of reason in a world of woo-woos. |

It is a matter of whem, not if. Sooner or later the wheel is going to land on 00, and thousands, perhaps million will die. Quoting: Anonymous astrophysicist 1184195 No one is saying any such thing...an impact of some kind is inevitable. We're just saying YOUR doom and gloom isn't going to happen. They are sent to eradicate malignant cells within the universe. At first you will see one or two, then a few more. Once they locate the source of infection however, they will swarm and bombard it.---N |

But, to post page after page becomes childish. Some of us that are less educated as myself in this field may find it bothersome and childish to continue reading through the fighting and give up on what started out as a good thread. To just go onto another thread with less childish bickering. We're all humans. We all have to shit, pee, eat, sleep and drink the same way. If you disagree with what I'm saying, it is no problem, it is your right and freedom to disagree but do us all a favor we don't need 5 pages of rant to show your disagreement. We all get it. |

Your refusal to answer, much like your refusal to wager with me about December 21st, 2012, will be most revealing. No way a dirty snowball 3 miles wide is going to outshine a full moon. Go away shill. Exactly, we're told it will be an amazing brilliant event brighter than the moon ,but...... its just an average snowball. So its really big or its going to get really close “One of the saddest lessons of history is this: If we’ve been bamboozled long enough, we tend to reject any evidence of the bamboozle. We’re no longer interested in finding out the truth. The bamboozle has captured us. It’s simply too painful to acknowledge, even to ourselves, that we’ve been taken. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1006073 Weird world... Like I said, many of those saying that also included qualifier statements, especially this famous quote from David Levy: "Comets are like cats; they have tails, and they do precisely what they want." -David H. Levy [link to www.jarnac.org] You bring a lot to GLP and Comet Shoemaker-Levy was a lot of Jovian fun, but that is a stupid CYA quote. Comets are hard to predict because those making predictions often don't really have a clue about what they are doing, but continue to make prognostications based on insufficient information processed with questionable logic. That's rather harsh. They're hard to predict because different volatiles will start sublimating and outgassing at different temperatures, thus you only have a partial picture of the total amount of outgassing that will occur early on. You have to make assumptions about the volatiles that have not yet started outgassing and the total amount of volatiles available as well as the integrity of the comet. That is what makes them notoriously unpredictable. |

shadasonic User ID: 34416224 United States 04/04/2013 06:27 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Heres what starry depicts the comet looking like in November. This is going to be one to remember. :starry nite: The newly discovered comet C/2012 S1 ISON could become a brilliant object at the end of 2013. The comet currently shines at +19 magnitude but it's expected to shine at -9 magnitude by late November 2013. To see how it will appear I downloaded orbital elements of this comet in my Starry Night Pro planetarium software and what I saw is really mind blowing and breath taking! According to the software the comet will shine at magnitude -10 and will be very low in the west at the time of sunset in November 29, 2013. As the image below shows, its tail will stretch around 90 degrees in the sky and its nucleus will be 3 degrees from the Sun. It might therefore eject vast jets of gas and dust and be spectacular with a fine tail and even become one of the finest comets ever witnessed by mankind. - astronomer Rahul Zota Last Edited by Thinking out loud on 04/04/2013 06:31 AM “One of the saddest lessons of history is this: If we’ve been bamboozled long enough, we tend to reject any evidence of the bamboozle. Quoting: THE SIMPLE TRUTH 37417669 ==== REMINDER: ASTRONOMY FOR DUMMIES - The ONE BASIC FACT - read and weep about yourself ASTRONOMY FOR DUMMIES The ONE BASIC FACT 1 Any celestial body that can not be observed with a telescope located ON Earth, is fake. This one basic fact implies that for instance Pluto (the first example among millions) is an invention created by the illuminati (now using NASA to serially produced Pluto type of hoaxes) and the Soviet Union (Soviet Union no longer exists). An endless array of hoaxes is simultaneously exposed and the chain of hoaxes becomes immediately clear, once you are aware of this one basic fact. (2) Notes (1) The one basic fact was exposed worldwide first by Prophet Matt. The third time it was posted it was archived by archive.org: [link to wayback.archive.org] (2) An "example", exposed also first by Prophet: Space Travel is a big lie created by the illuminati to help the process of turning humans into beasts, alias human cattle. There was no moon landing, no shuttle orbiting the Earth. The only human to ever experience what is to be inside a rocket launch died before the rocket left the atmosphere. [link to www.scam.com] You CAN'T be serious!! So, according to Prophet Matt, the Hubble is just a colossal waste of time and money, right? |
