Re: THINK: Never a NIGHT on Earth, if NASA is true
Try this too:

Have you ever seen a light bulb with its light rays travel in darkness, until it reaches you? Torch light, floodlight, or any light source?

You have to wonder why do we believe the stupid science that explains away this phenomenon for Sun, which is per NASA, 93 millions away, but you can only see the last few thousand miles, but the not the rest. But funny things, you never seem to observe any darkness when you directly look at Sun (which again was not recommended by NASA, of course that doesn't apply to Saints I suppose)

So, you can see the SUN,but you can't see the sun outside of earth, until it reaches you. But it never happens within earth.

Oh yes, because the space is in VACUUM, but Earth is not!!

Thank you N.A.S.A.

In other words, they will both look about the same size. Voila!

I don't understand why would NASA take all the pain in doing such calculations to make the earth and sun look about the same size to give us the perfect darkness.

They could just as well zoom out further and make the sun few thousand miles wide and several thousand miles away from earth which might just work as well. Crazy right!?
 Quoting: Shishyan

No, it wouldn't. You seem to think celestial mechanics works no matter what numbers you plug in. It doesn't. Real physics dictates the orbital motion of the earth, from which we can and have derived our distance from the sun.
Oh and one more thing, it will make it much easier to explain the moon cycles too when both sun and moon become similar in size and distance.
 Quoting: Idiot

It already IS explained; that's how big the moon SHOULD look from the surface of earth.

Orbital motion of the earth..? No, earth doesn't move the way NASA purports as it is. There is no gravity, it's all in magnetism and vibrational frequencies.

Well, for the heck of it. What if the current sun is not our sun at all, they say we left that awhile ago. Has anyone noticed how the sun seems to keep getting brighter and brighter. This would be one hell of a conspiracy, but, what if that thing we see in the sky is...wait for it........a giant comet. The one they said is 100x larger than the earth and found back in 1989. It is coming at us extremely slow, thus a gradual brightning. The earth is spinning, however the comet is coming at us on a direct path. When the earth night comes, that part of earth is not facing the comet, and again vice versa for the daylight. If this was true, then we are being lied to, on a grand scale. "Operation Side-Swipe". This could definately be the reason for all of the stockpiling of ammo and all the underground digging. This thing might not directly hit, but glide buy, burning up everything on the surface of the planet. Sleep tight everyone!!

That's horse shit at it's finest. If we aren't rotating around the sun then how come we still have the seasons? And how could we possibly be sitting still when we know our entire galaxy is rotating around a black hole? The absolute idiocy in this thread is almost mind blowing. OP what is the absence of light? Darkness, when you shine a flash light on an apple does the entire apple light up? Or just the side you shine the flash light on? You people are a disgrace to intelligence

BTW, I didn't mention about an apple and a torch light? that's not the best analogy for NASA's crazy distances and size. Ofcourse, we should believe them.

Thanks for that clarification.

I suppose I was talking about the black side in front of the flashlight, not the back side.

According to NASA, the space appears in the backdrop always has a perfect black darkness while the earth, just below, is perfectly lit by the sun light.

So,

As you see, SUN with all its powerful light rays, can't ever lighten up the background in these pictures, but it can to earth, every time!

When you directly see the sun, do you observe any perfect darkness on its path before it reaches you?

Imagine a tiny dust particle near a flood light (e.g. on an NFL stadium).Do you honestly think that a dust particle will have a perfect darkness on the other side of the floodlight direction?

Compare this analogy to NASA's story of the size of Sun and earth's perfect night every single day.

According to NASA's theory:

The Sun is as big as more than 1 million Earth masses put together. It is 1,287,000 times bigger than a solitary Earth. The Sun has a diameter of 1,392,000 km (865,000 miles) while the Earth’s diameter is only 12,742 km (7,918 miles). In terms of weight, the Sun is 333,000 times heavier than the Earth and accounts for 98% of all mass in the solar system.

They turn off the sun every night
 Quoting: Anonymous Subscriber

Look at the right side of the equation, there is "IF NASA is true".

So, the inquiring question is, how big really is the SUN to make a perfect darkness every night?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 32589785

This is easy.We can all accept the given size of the moon, right? It`s 2,159 miles in diameter.By amazing coincidence the moon perfectly eclipses the sun during a solar eclipse which means you get the diameter of the sun by dividing the distance of the sun(93,000,000 miles)with the distance of the moon. Since that works out to the sun being 400 times further away than the moon that means due to the two spheres appearing equal in size, its also 400 times the diameter of the moon, which makes the sun around 885,000 miles in diameter.(not exact)

Yes, Thanks for the explanation. The most AMAZING coincidence (yes!).

Where did that magic 93 MILLION miles come from? It's not that NASA really measured that distance then calculated the SUN size, or did they!?

Please take a look at this

[link to img829.imageshack.us]

According to NASA, space is dark, because the stars are not old enough for them to send their bright light across the universe, the it remains dark (for however billions years they claim that to be)

So, let's forget about the stars, how about our SUN?

According to their magic calculations, our SUN sends the light rays to earth about every 8 minutes, and make a good-day in earth, but unfortunately, it could not do much during those 93 million traveling miles, as they would remain in dark.

Oh, is it our atmospheric magic? Great!

Re: THINK: Never a NIGHT on Earth, if NASA is true

Orbital motion of the earth..? No, earth doesn't move the way NASA purports as it is. There is no gravity, it's all in magnetism and vibrational frequencies.

Earth, the giant magnet, is a pretty place really!

Holy shit, a fucking geocentric lunatic. Get a torsion scale, lunatic.

Stop insulting the people, mister professor! Who are you? Who gave you the authority to decide for all of us what is true or false? You think your head is the holy grail of the universal truth or what? There is no truth at all, just different perceptions of reality, so you are terribly wrong. Always!

Oh, so if someone doesn't think gravity exists, that's perfectly "valid." See, this is why education is on a downward spiral. Everything is just a "different perception of reality." Another bleeding heart with no concept of what reality really is. Yes, the OP is completely wrong. It's easily demonstrable. You should get a torsion scale too.

Gravity, the weakest force in existence, holds everyone on earth from thrown away, while earth goes for a round every day..?

Well done N.A.S.A. You have done what you were set out to do.

Thank you.

I suppose, he is a very good man/woman, doing his/her job just perfect as he/she was told.

I would do the same, if I were in his/her position, only little more love and patience.

Thanks again!

put the stadium in space and yes, the dust particle will have a perfect dark side.

Wow, the ALL Knowing!
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 32589785

Doesn't have to be all knowing... it's basic knowledge.

Same reason the temp on the moon changes drastically between sunlight and shadows. Where there is no atmosphere (air or gasses, like here on Earth) things happen a bit differently. Did you do any vacuum experiments in high school?

Their comment to you is right...
do some research before posting a stupid "conspiracy".

Let's not go back a level. We are still playing the game in level 3 whereas the truth that we are trying to validate is at level 7.

So, shall we get back to fighting and moving to level 4?

Thanks!
