Hey, thanks for the insults. I absolutely love it. It grows on me every time some one does it and I feel better than ever. Being a saint, it bothers a little.
What a better way let go of all your stress than that!
BTW, I didn't mention about an apple and a torch light? that's not the best analogy for NASA's crazy distances and size. Ofcourse, we should believe them.
Quoting: Anonymous Coward 32589785 It's just common sense that when you flash a light on one side of a circular object the backside is always dark. It's really not a hard concept to follow or figure out Quoting: Anonymous Coward 14873151 Thanks for that clarification. I suppose I was talking about the black side in front of the flashlight, not the back side. According to NASA, the space appears in the backdrop always has a perfect black darkness while the earth, just below, is perfectly lit by the sun light. [ link to www.3news.co.nz] [ link to www.filipinasoul.com] [ link to bitewallpapers.com] (Oh, I see now, it's the angle of photographs which point to night in space, but day in earth? Great!) So, As you see, SUN with all its powerful light rays, can't ever lighten up the background in these pictures, but it can to earth, every time! When you directly see the sun, do you observe any perfect darkness on its path before it reaches you? Quoting: Shishyan It's the angle they take the picture. If they aimed the camera at the sun, it would be too bright to see anything. That is why when you take the picture you aim AWAY from the sun. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 14873151 Great. So, tell me when is space is bright, according to NASA? Is it ever? it is always black?
