The craziness comes from their teachings. They literally have to kill all the Jews in order for their false messiah to come to earth. Their eschatology is interestingly inverse to the Christian eschatology. Their Messiah=Christian antichrist, their version of Jesus=Christian false prophet, and Islam's version of the antichrist= the true Messiah Jesus. Look it up....
