Could China Betray North Korea? | |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 32651972 United States 04/03/2013 02:11 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I could imagine that the U.S. might be saying to China, "If this shit gets out of hand, it is on YOUR heads. You can forget about any future cooperation on Taiwan OR keeping Japan from getting its own nuclear weapons. Oh, yeah, the Taiwanese will probably want those, too, as well as the Vietnamese." Quoting: Spine monkey Does China want the next 20 years of its foreign policy dictated by North Korea? Does it want to disrupt relations with its largest business partner? Or does it want to send a message to Un by putting some materiel and manpower on the Yalu and then blow some shit up, like, say, a bridge, as a message to Un. Just thinking. China won't care, N Korea will destroy Japan, Taiwan and most of the rest by attacking the US bases there. Those countries will be decimated. There will be so little left to defend, that they will bend over for N. Korea. These countries depend on the US defending them from attack, if we are destroyed or refuse to help them, then they are at the mercy of N. Korea and China. The US is in serious trouble; Financially, Militarily and Politically. We are on our last legs and one good push, (or nuke attack, even an EMP attack) and its all over. Then China and Russia can fight over what's left. |

It is North Korea that would be obliterated beyond rehabilitation. It can't feed its people now; how will it feed them if 10% are dead, 30% are injured, and 75% have been displaced? Where would their refugees go? China. North Korea would be defeated, expunged as a modern nation state. |
