Piers can afford a private, well-armed security system/militia to protect his interests, while all that stands between the average American and the non-law-abiding criminal is a easily obtainable firearm - in both cases fortunately/unfortunately. Piers is advocating the restriction of assault rifles and rounds per mag..do the research!! And also a well – detailed data base of who owns what, and all other data that will come with any Government intervention. Kind of defeats the purpose when a potential enemy has this kind of info – info wins wars. Piers can buy his protection, while trying to deny others theirs. Piers believes the average American cannot be trusted and needs regulations to keep them in line, much like his peasant countrymen. The average American did not gun people down in a Cinema or murder teachers and children in a school - criminals did! (all gun-ownership restrictions should apply to criminals) But all Americans are somehow responsible by default because their Public Servants were playing fucking golf instead of serving their Voters.
