Straight after the ‘tour’ Kim said he Didn’t want a war with the USA.. Maybe it was a soft-sell like the Mafia (Italian Corporation) does when extorting people…send over your happy goons and get them to deliver a subtle message. “Yo Kimmy! Remember Sadam and Gaddafi….Watch your back, Bro…Literally” This could get ugly this time |

So the US/Japan can't see what type of WARHEAD they put on there... not to mention underground, they can't detect when exactly they will be launched... they could be launched at any moment... |

Quoting: TheWatchers [link to english.yonhapnews.co.kr] Jesus Christ, all this fucking posturing and the US has not taken more agressive actions? What is the hold up here? Are we supposed to wait for the DPRK shitbags to launch a full fledged attack on Seoul at the push of a button before we take any action?? That is a policy which will doom the US. It is therefore in the best interests of the US and Free South Korea to take militaryy action now. Otherwise it will literally be too late. |

I was just thinking the same , if the US launces a preemptive strike then NK will hit Seoul straight away so its a case of "dammed if you do-dammed if you dont" |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 31974932 United States 04/05/2013 01:12 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Damnit, since when does the military post this shit on the internet? Seriously. WHY in the HELL would any military unit want to make this kind of information public? All of this "OMG, NK IS MISSING 2 SUBMARINES" or "2 BOMBERS SENT TO KAWASAKI" is hot press. The strongest weapon is the element of surprise. If you know something, don't let anyone else know that you're aware. This is pretty much the golden rule to any war. The ONLY reason a nation's military would reveal enemy position or powers would be to stir the public. Stirring the public = manipulating the public's perception. Can someone tell me one good reason why the military would mention to any media market that "THE ENEMY IS ARMED AND MOBILE" besides stirring public opinion? I can understand warning the public, but if this were the case, they'd be clear in issue warnings, evacuation, threats, etc. Stop drinking the damned kool-aid people. The world is much more complicated than what's announced on the media. After all, media is the easiest and most influential outlet to the common citizen. And we soak that shit up like sponges.. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 23231420 United States 04/05/2013 01:12 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | In a very real and serious posture I truly hope that we have some jets armed with emp rockets, to disable any threats from NK Mid flight. If these aren't tests, the usa is seriously wasting time to plan a counter move on the missile threat. I agree, This is full scale provocation. If NK does not respond to a request to its intention with these devices, The USA should have every right to engage on the threats imposed to our citizens security... |

I do agree with most of your post, however these are foreign news outlets, not american. Also just because we have some indication as to whats going on in NK I am sure we are tracking leads on other, non media related issues. You have to realize that some of what we are reading, is truly based on events. While others, are fabrications, and distractions. |

You have to realize that some of what we are reading, is truly based on events. While others, are fabrications, and distractions. Foriegn outlets, indeed. And living in the US all my life, I've learned to appreciate foreign news outlets much more than national ones. My problem is a many of these are from South Korean outlets. To be completely fair, I am unfamiliar with these. And South Korea is in a very threatened position right now. I feel, and maybe I'm wrong, that in claiming all of these military actions, they are almost crying out to the world for help. Maybe I am wrong. I have always strongly felt the US military is more advanced than what the general public knows, and would keep their operations much more secretive and quiet. I feel that in showing to the public that we're mobilizing forces to the west (by means of stealth bombers, etc), the US gov't is simply showing the public that it's responding to the threats. Politically, this is the correct approach. When your people are threatened, they'll obviously be much more at ease and trusting if you demonstrate that you're protecting them. But realistically, I'm sure the US put much more drastic measures in place than what is relayed to the general public (defensively speaking). But you are right, this is foreign news outlets talking. Unfortunately, I still feel there are clear motives the press is pushing for. |

You first need to devalue their little lives on CNN before you murder them...shouldn't be to long now though...It's almost show time. |
