Yesterday I had a very intense experience. None of us is perfect. A very profound healer I've known for a long time and who has healed many cases that the medical profession gave up on, told me that every healer should have a vice. This way they stay human and people connect with them better. If the healer is completely pure and lives a flawless saintly life so that their vibration is very high, they seem un-human and somewhat unapproachable.

This healer's vice is smoking cigarettes. Sometimes she even gambles at casinos which works out well for her since she's so psychic :)

Back to yesterday, I suddenly had a huge struggle within with my own vice. It was a huge internal fight. In the end I diod not give in and felt very liberated. I walked down a street, that I walked down many times and started noticing things I never noticed before, especially details in old architecture and churches.

When I got home, I checked what is going on astrologically and then it all made sense. We just had an intense solar eclipse in Taurus and Scorpio as I described last night. The effects will con tinue to have an effect for more than 3 years to come.

Of course I was so affected myself since I have scorpio in my charts. Even before i checked the planets, I knew that the vice was overcome. A transformation has happened.

So if anyone of you feels that there is an intensified inner struggle going on to break old habits, then know that the planetary energies are triggering and pushing you to drop what doesn't serve you any longer and to transform yourselves for a new energy.

Knowing this, you can practice working on yourself more consciously.

After my internal fight yesterday, I went to bed peacefully but slept unusually long compared to the little sleep I require lately. This usually happens after transformative processes and release of old parts of yourselves.

So with this eclipse and the upcoming lunar eclipse on May 25 portals are opening to facilitate a new world, bringing in the golden age and the renewed human that matches the new energies with a deeper understanding, expanded consciousness, more maturity and hopefully more wisdom.

I'd like to add that the new energies are not only favoring a personal transformation away from negative old habits towards a release of those and creating a void for an improved you.

They also support the letting go off previously held concepts and images that made up people's matrix. New never imagined doors will open. In order to perceive these one has to be very flexible in mind and have the courage to let go of their previously held view of the world, no matter how long that was in place creating a sense of security and a sense of knowing what is. This sense is false and limiting as now we are being offered to see further behind the veil and to realize more and more that existence is a huge never ending mystery, that can never be grasped intellectually but only experientially.

People with a constructed worldview which gives them a sense of safety, a feeling that they know everything and how their world works, who chose to follow a certain religious belief-system etc. are being challenged and may get very angry as their world view is threatened to crumble and be completely over hauled.

Allowing this even while fighting and screaming is better than to stubbornly hold on to old views and ways of going about things. For if you don't eventually flow with the new, you will be with the group who is suffering most since truth will be felt and cannot be denied. Only the stubborn ego can pretend it isn't so and exhaust itself in fighting to be right.

Also, do not give up and despair if you are struggling with shaking and bad habits and addictions.
Sometimes you may think, you overcame them and when you least expect it, cravings or tendencies towards harmful actions or habits creep back in. It takes time and dedication to eradicate that which no longer serves us or holds us back.
And sometimes there is grace which helps to rid yourself of a negative behavior, thought patterns and habits practically over night. This can happen through sincere prayer.

The universe is patient and forgiving of those whose intentions are true and pure. So be forgiving and unconditionally loving and forgiving with yourselves. Also, it is not necessary to aim at being flawless and perfect. If you were perfect you would cease to exist. You are human, having experiences in order to learn and to grow. Making mistakes and being weak is normal. As long as you see that and are able to reflect on past mistakes or undesirable behavior. Then you can choose to do better next time and work on it.

Again endings and new beginnings are supported by the current energetic influx. Use that knowledge to better yourself but don't be hard on yourself. If you fall back, continuously forgive and love yourself, get up and try again until you get it right and are happy with yourself.

We need to balance the darkness with more light. People are more drawn to their inner light. Darkness is painful and makes people miserable. True joy cannot be experienced when dwelling on fear, anger and hatred.

Good for you, er, I mean that particular healer of which you speak. I've struggled with nicotine addiction for years. They say it's easier to give up heroin than cigarettes. They are so expensive here in Australia since the Govt. caved into the shrieking do-gooder vocal minority. Over $10 for a pack of twenty last time I looked.

I haven't had a ciggie since April last year but I do puff on a pipe occasionally when I 'crack'.

As a Taurus, can I expect a transformation of sorts? I haven't felt much of anything of late. I touched on that in my 'forbidden' post earlier today. It's 1am, & as I'm trying to avoid late nights, I'll have to try & post those thoughts tomorrow.

I know people who smoked for many years and tried to quit unsuccessfully. Then something switched, happened internally and they stopped from one day to another. It may be that when internal work reaches a certain point, that stuff just falls away naturally.

You can encounter energies that work on transforming you at any time. It does not necessarily correlate with astrological constellations.

It happens when you're ripe and when the universe decides to. I don't know how to put it in better words right now. There are external all knowing energies that work on people at different times. That is nothing you can push for. You can support it by doing spiritual purification practice.

Many give into the dark and desperate thoughts because they are in denial of their power.

I didn't read the whole thread, but I can say that I agree with this 100%, and have had those very same thoughts myself. I don't consider myself psychic really, just more aware than some, less than others.

But I agree completely that those who initiate these things are being 'guided' by energies they are completely unaware of, as is everyone and everything. To those who can see, it's fairly clear. To those who can't, it may never be.

The word 'Psychic' has been used and abused so much including by profit-oriented 'New Agers' so that it is very loaded with negative notions and rings 'Fraud' in many as soon as they sight the word 'psychic'.

When you completely exit the Maya (the illusionary existence) and enter into LILA (the flow with the Universe), you notice that you are being carried on an energetic current that works according to the same laws as the tides, the cycles of nature, the weather changes and the changes in season. Ones you surrender to the flow of everything and fearlessly blend with ALL THERE IS. you also become part of existence, carried by it and taken care of for eternity.

Absolutely agree.

One of the big lessons I've learnt is about self acceptance. I no longer adopt that old negative psychology of looking at myself as a 'sinner', it's unhealthy. Rather, I accept that I'm a work in progress, that I'm not perfect. Being aware of our flaws is the 1st step towards correcting that flaw. I know who & what I am & I'm focused on who I choose to be.
Looking from the sinner perspective life seemed dark, being a better person seemed unattainable. Regardless of where I am now, I can see the Light & everything is possible.

Acceptance and forgiveness towards oneself when one makes mistakes whether it's regarded a flaw by society or you find an action you did undesirable yourself is most important. Otherwise blame and guilt develop which make you feel so bad that you might even hate yourself and start feeling unworthy. That's not helpful. You have to be able to admit that there is something you want to change and choose to work on it. When you don't succeed right away and even if you fall down many times, don't give up, don't blame yourself, but love, accept and forgive yourself trusting and choosing that you will get where you want to eventually.

The religious idea of sin is something crushing and evokes guilt. Nobody is perfect. Everyone makes mistakes, but we should not walk around beating ourselves up about something we did and bad habits that may be hard to get rid of. Instead of acknowledge that we want to get better and do better working towards and believing that we will get there. Feeling guilty and blaming ourselves only sets us back and makes us feel incapable.

Be happy and confident knowing that you are getting better everyday. Things in the past happened in the past. You lose energy for living in the present if you dwell on things that happened in the past. Forgive yourself and others and trust that you are learning from your experiences and becoming wiser each day.

How are your diets?

I am having a dietary change happen not necessarily by choice. Having issues with red meat, meat in general. Twice this week we ate hamburger and both times I got a migraine. Hubby did not do well either. We had not eaten it in a few weeks because last time it was weird. We eat grass fed organic beef grown within 100 miles too so it was not a quality issue. We talked to another like minded friend last night and they too had issues with beef this week. Oh well. I have not been able to palate chicken for some time either. Pork has been on decline in desirability as well.

Down to seafood and eggs.

My daughter, now 18, does not eat meat and has not for at least 10 years. When she was 2 was able to identify the different types of meat in the grocery. She asked me one time what each one was. I told her, always been straight with her, and for the next few visits she would yell out "That's chicken, that's pig, that's cow." when we would go by that section. She never really ate it. I don't think I scared her off it for making that correlation so very young. I think she just got the connectivity. She uses it as one of her arguments for not eating it and always has.

One more quick share before I run off for day.

Yesterday I had an instant "psychic" moment. We were in the car getting ready to go to work in a bad storm. I told hubby we needed to get out immediately and go back to house. NO sooner did we do so did a tree branch fall on the back if it. No real damage but dang! Had it hit the top and we were in it? I would at least have had a near heart attack.

Getting stronger and stronger by the day. I dreamed the other night about a friend having an altercation with ex and sure enough the very next day. Oh what a fun universe.

When you have something that you perceive as a vice and you're struggling with dropping it, just look at the past and compare how much you tended in the vice in the past and how you're doing now. Often you realize that you're doing a lot better and can be confident that you are growing even if still falling down at times.
This is the same for diet, all sorts of bad habits, addictions, anger problems, etc. the first step in overcoming these is being willing to look at everything and to work on yourself. Then many times help comes from unexpected sources. A lot of our bad habits and addictions have to do with suppressed stuff in the sub conscious often since childhood.

Once you clear your subconscious and you do that through unconditional love and forgiveness, allowing to see all that your subconscious wants you to deal with and give it your unbroken attention in quietude and meditation. When you clear suppressed material, then bad habits, vices and addictions fall away and you have more energy available for everything else.

As for diet, on my spiritual path I've been sometimes unable to eat, sometimes could only eat one type of food and sometimes experienced craving for meat even though I'm vegetarian. I di not fight this because I believe in the wisdom and intelligence of spirit and our bodies that go through phases that are also processes of clearing stuff and being purified.

I'd be careful with fish due to potential radiation and other pollution.

It's great that you let your daughter be vegetarian since 8 y/o. Everyone is different. We all need different food which is due to genetics and also our emotional and spiritual condition. Food affects our emotions, levels of energy and our well-being. Choose wisely what you eat. Learn to listen to your body and restrain that inner child that wants junk food mostly as comfort food. It's good to fast one day a month. But fasting is not for everyone, maybe a partial fast, a juice or soup fast can be done to give your internal organs a break.

Every day is a new opportunity to get better at feeling good and doing good.

very interesting what you've said about eating the flesh of dead animals. I believe that as our vibrational frequency rises, certain lifestyle choices start to conflict. Becoming a lacto-ovo vegetarian was a part of my awakening, it went hand in hand. We are what we eat. Imagine the cruelty, the pain & fear many animals endure just to end up on our dinner plates. That energy is absorbed by the consumer. I only eat free range eggs. I won't allow dead animal in my home except when it's for a carnivore like my Rottweiler [who's now passed & waiting for me :) ]
I have not consumed the flesh of my fellow creatures for nearly 20 years. My beautiful boy has not eaten meat ever & he is a big strong, intelligent young guy. He was rarely sick as a child. He did the same thing when he was a toddler as we walked past a butchers display, he would say "I know what that is Dad" as he pointed to a butchered creature "that's a poor cow/chicken/pig/sheep!" He would identify most animals. It would be hilarious when the butcher was listening. [Interesting & appropriate job description - BUTCHER ]
When I first changed my diet, I only ate seafood for 6 months before I became a vegetarian [ I just laugh at those who call themselves a vegetarian while feasting on the dead flesh of a chook or fish ] It was when I read that sea creatures like fish have the same pain receptive chemicals as humans', that I decided to remove all meat from my diet.
Years ago I saw a former cannibal from Papua New Guinea being interviewed & when he was asked what does human flesh taste like he laughed & said "Like pig."
I think your body is trying to tell you [& hubby ] something Beloved. I'd be listening :)

Thank you OP & Paul for responses about food. I have not eaten meat for long periods of time including last year when I went through a major lifestyle and dietary change ending up in large weight loss. I think I mentioned it before. I basically was living on eggs & oatmeal for a long while there. Could not stomach anything else.

My seafood consists of Shrimp & Crawfish once in a while. I live in New Orleans. Part of the natives diet. LOL. I imagine though that those are about to be phased out as well. Maybe on special occasions. I make a mean barbequed shrimp hor de vors when I have dinner parties. Really should not be eating gulf seafood anyways. Have not much since the spill in 2010. The crawfish come from fresh water. But they too have not been tasting like they used to.

Been eating real butter for over a decade. I read a book by Andrew Weil when I had cancer back in the early 2000's and he was the one who made me realize that the real thing is always better than the fake alternatives. Moderation in everything.

I love that your child did the same thing as a babe Paul. These kids, amazing, it really is built right in them.

Thank you OP for the diseases post. I have wondered if there was some correlation between even the past life carry overs. My weight loss last year had a supernatural quality to it. Even though there was a medical cause I still felt like I was losing "someone." I went through profound personality changes as well. Of course some of it was shedding the insecurity that comes with poor body image, but also I literally lost some strong qualities and ways of thought and speaking even. This person "left" my building.

EDIT: I also felt like I was possessed by an old spanish woman during the weight loss. Besides the eggs & oats. I could only eat, salsa & chips, latin coffee and other spicy latin foods. Weird eh?

I used to make the best garlic chilli king prawns [shrimp] Beloved. When I went vegetarian a few friends begged me for the recipe which was my own creation. It's funny though, I haven't been tempted to cook up a batch.

I heard that since the Gulf oil disaster that all water life in the area is dangerous to consume? :(

Most spices, like herbs, are good for us. No doubt your body needed what you craved.
