My best friend of 13 years just died. (DOG). Is there any evidence they survive and cross to the other side?

Google for dog ghost stories. You'll find hundreds. People have souls and make ghosts. So do dogs. And God takes care of all loving souls.

When my dog passed away, we heard barking in the back yard, and there were no other dogs living around us. Also, I couldn't walk through the spot where he used to sleep because I felt him and his energy there for weeks after he died.

I'm so sorry, I know how you feel. My Yorkie passed away 10/11/12 after almost 15 years, and I was devastated. Similar feeling as I had when my niece was murdered or when my father died.

I believe in the Bible so this scripture helped some. Also the fact that it talks about animals in heaven.

If you don't believe, I know this won't help though.

Someone told me that a piece of my heart died to, but it was a piece created by my dog, so it was hers to take.

Finally, a couple of months ago, I got another Yorkie/Maltese mix. I didn't think/know if it would help, but it did. At first after her death though, another dog was out of the question. It took about 3-4 months. I still miss her, but I love my new baby.

I know so. And sometimes, when you least expect it, they'll put in an 'appearance' to let you know they're doing just fine.

The following is a true story, it happened to me.
One of our dogs snuck out and got hit one evening, I heard the thud but didnt understand it immediatley and none of the traffic made any indication of anything wrong, no brake lights, squealing tires, or pulling off the road.
It took til the next day to find the body in spite of looking for it with the police who had been called about a dog being hit. I found the dog with its neck broke.
An acquaintance who claims to be a medium was engaged soon after in conversation and it was mentioned that we had a recent loss.\She thought for a bit, then described what happened, that the car that hit the dog didnt stop or hit the brekes, and it was the passenger that called the police, that the dog had died intantly and didnt suffer and THE OTHER DOG WAS MISSING THE LOSS OF ITS FRIEND.

She had no information of the kind of pet, the number of pets or the incident which otherwise drew no local attention, and anyway, the woman is not local.

If something like that is important enough to happen to an anmal, I think they are important enough to wait for us as well. Maybe not, but I think they do progress as humans can.
The sad fact is that in many human lives, their dogs or other pets are the best thing they have to look forward to.
Your friend will be there for you, you will see.

I'm very sorry for the loss of your sweet friend. I have had many pets over the years and if you believe people carry on past their earthly death then pets do as well. This may sound silly to some, but look for him in the clouds. He will appear in a younger form, possibly playing. It all depends on what you believe. When you get past some of the sadness, I hope you open your heart to another pet that could use a great home and bring joy to you.

Sad, not sure how I'll take it when my dog dies. There's no telling where they'll go after passing. But I do hope your dog is at ease( if they do have souls ).

I believe on the Buddhist belief system, and in other perhaps, 'we' go from mineral>plant>animal kingdom>man. Reaching 'man' we have 108 lifes to reach 'enlightnement' or start over.

I am very sorry for your loss. I saw my dog in a dream running with hundred's of other dogs in this beautiful park like setting with a huge pond in the middle. There were also a few people that appeared to be keepers. I called his name but he just stared. His friend dog came over to let me know he is great. I hope the dream is the truth but who knows? Maybe a coping mechanism..

Absolutely! The soul perceives, thinks, feels, and makes decisions and choices. In man, the soul can also cause sin. God gave man the choice to choose sin or righteousness, to worship himself or God.

The lesser animals were not given this choice. God put them under the protection and dominion of man.

Do Animals Have a Spirit?

Noah and the Ark

Because God loves His people so much, and His people love their pets, I do believe that He will let us all be reunited with our pets. At this time I have three pets in heaven. They are waiting on me.
