this is new court news folks, we all knew he must of been on some form of psychotropic. They also found a case of 48 beer cans, partially drank. It's unclear if he had quit taking the zoloft during the rampage, or was under some other form of control. MASS MURDER PILLS!

CHARLESTON, South Carolina — A teenager who blamed the antidepressant Zoloft for his violent behavior has been convicted of killing his grandparents when he was 12 years old.

As his family sobbed in the front row, Christopher Pittman, 15, was sentenced Tuesday to 30 years in prison for the murders of Joe Pittman, 66, and Joy Pittman, 62, who had brought him to live with them in Chester County, South Carolina, after he began having trouble at home in Florida. A doctor had prescribed Zoloft less than a month before the killings.

In a news conference outside the courthouse, Christopher's father and other relatives warned parents to be very cautious about giving their children psychoactive drugs. "This could happen to you," said Will Duprey, Christopher's maternal step-grandfather.

Zoloft can cause psychotic episode. When I was on it in highschool I started to have no fear even when I was surrounded by violent gang bangers in a 95 % black school. However, I don't believe this Holmes did Aurora shooting.

I beilive he did, but was a puppet, mind controlled to kill, most likely by his doctor, or somebody else in the neuroscience program, someone with Gov ties, a perfect patsy if you will. All to push more gun laws, which is backfiring.

what better way to mind control a subject, dope them up on benzos and Zoloft, a drug that makes you very complacent.

though as a neuro science major, you would think he would know better than to take these toxic mind poisons.

the judge was changed yesterday, this is the first time in court documents, to mention and show he was on psychotropics

he was also prescribed klonopin..i have experience with this benzo, and i had some violent outburst while on it, and especially when i ran out. That was years ago, have learned natural methods to calm my anxiety.

Clonazepam (Klonopin the brand name) is the most brain damaging drug and if taken long enough the damage is irreversble. Klon is a benzo as are Ativan, Xanax and Valium but each drug has a different mechanism of action..

Xanax and Clonazepam are the most potent benzos, 20 times as strong as Valium mg per mg. Xanax has a half life of 10 hours, Clonazepam 50 hours.

Klon is extremely ‘tight binding’ to the receptors, and with its long half life the chemical builds up to levels much greater than the prescribed dose

All benzos enhance the effect of the brains GABA(the ‘calming’ neurotransmitter) by altering the receptors(which are protein molecules). With use as little as a week the receptors are damaged and now the patient is desperate to get his daily fix. Upon withdrawal of the benzo the damaged brain can no longer naturally calm itself and the patient becomes extremely agitated.

THE REAL DAMAGE FROM KLONOPIN : All neurons operate by electrical signaling which last less than a millisecond, via the chloride, sodium, potassium and calcium channels. Every time a person processes information a calcium channel is polarized and opens- THIS IS ESSENTIAL FOR TRANSFERRING INFO TO LONG TERM MEMORY.

When Clonazepam(Klon) reaches micromolar concentrations instantly a subset of these calcium channels are depolarized.

Klon permanently damages cognition, and the intelligent person soon realizes this and lives in a rage.

Right after Aurora I said to folks that Holmes was brain damaged from psyche drugs, and likely was on Klon. This guy was in a PhD program and prescribed Klonopin- his ‘doctor’ should draw a life sentence.

some people don't get the bad side effects..but I can guarantee you if you keep taking that drug, in a few years, when the doctor thinks you are ready to go off it. Your life will be a living hell

withdrawal from SSRI's is the worst, you will be tapering off for a couple years after

Wow, I took Zoloft for a couple years. I don't remember killing anyone...

THESE PEOPLE ARE DELUSIONAL AND HEAR VOICES AND WANT TO HARM PEOPLE BEFORE THEY ARE EVER PRESCRIBED DRUGS. THEY NEEDED ANTIPSYCHOTICS.

I had Ativan at the same time as the Zoloft to help with sleep.... I AM PRETTY SURE I DIDN'T KILL ANYONE

I quit a strong dose of Zoloft cold turkey, no side effects, None, and I was looking for them too...None happened.

I guarantee it won't be. Been there done that, it was at least two years I was on it. Quit cold turkey like I said. No problemo.

Just because they said they found it, doesn't mean they did. On the night of the shootings, police described James' pupils as being "huge," said he was "sweating profusely" and seemed "out of it." Yet, did they test him for drugs when they arrested him? Nope. And why not? Because they "didn't see a reason to." Wouldn't testing for drugs be protocol? They didn't want to run the tests because the drugs found in his apartment (if any were really found) were not the drugs that would have been found in his system.

This. I seriously doubt the drugs listed in the OP had anything to do with it. Most likely he was a mind control victim.
