I can't find it to link it specifically. But the common characteristic they have in common is that they were on psychiatric medications. The conclusion was that the medications caused them to become serial killers.

I've been thinking. Is that putting the cart before the horse? The person is most likely psychotic and therefore on Anti-psychotic medications for this reason. Do you see where I am coming from here?

Why else would they be on them in the first place? You don't take a healthy person and subject them to the trials and tribulations of daily medications. The side effects are too numerous to count with one of them being death!

People are supposed to take these willingly. Some don't, some forget, some can't tolerate the side effects, some can't accept the disorder the list goes on and on but this leads to instability in the disorder on the person.

Suddenly going off these medications can have a profound effect on your brain. Just as you titer up you must titer down. Titering is when you start off low and get to optimum dosage.

More that anything, the Mentally Ill need the care they had before Regan closed many facilities down and the iII are now being handled by the police and the prisons.

Right. Probably any type of drug really. Some drugs actually cause psychotic behavior in normally even tempered people. There was a man on sleeping medication who killed his wife, while dreaming he was killing a robber.

Serial killers are sociopaths. That is a mental illness that stems from prolonged childhood trauma or you are born with an abnormal brain chemistry.

There is no "cure" for a sociopath except a bullet. Once they are either born or created....there is no fixing them.

Some sociopaths aren't serial killers, but ALL serial killers are sociopaths.

Sociopaths are known young if the environment allows them to be known.

Our environment does not allow them to be known.

Our environment is so demanding, intrusive, dominating and hard driven to the possessive attitude.

This causes the situation with the sociopath to become that much more regressed and replaced in the void they have and make deeper is a deadly falsity.

It is dangerous for the person with a sociopath emotional and reasoning mind.

It is dangerous for those who are around them.

Yes the sociopath is full aware of the void they have in emotions and thought.

Some find it to be demeaning in the sense they know they have something wrong with them. When the person is very successful and has a lot of ambition driven towards ethics integrity and honor.
This voided area they have in them is as a shame they them selves do not want or accept as acceptable, yet they know they can not change it.

And it hurts them not in the same sense as emotional humans feel mind hurt.

It is a terrible then to know you are perfectly fine able and in health.

Yet with a difference that separates human from human leaving only a superficial put on in the place....

Where put on should never be.

Some assume all others are like them and feel the same way and in this no one is truthful honest and good.
Everybody is with out genuine care, empathy, remorse, guilt....love.

It seems to be a damned if you do and damned if you don't situation.

Your the one damned with when you do not want it.

Others are when the one who is a sociopath enjoys the un-restrictiveness they have of no-conscience, and the ease of hiding it from others.

I find guilt, remorse, regret and my emotional weakness to be something I am very grateful for.

Because I have seen first hand how hurtful it is to be with out these.

Reagan? Really??

SO because he closed down mental health facilities that made doctors prescribe these medications?

You need to re-evaluate your thinking process. You are not looking at things with a fair view if you would blame Reagan for this nonsense.

Most people do not need these medications. THat is why so many have problems with it. This was somewhat uncommon before. There are people with genuine chemical imbalances and others with reasons to take such strong meds but many people who are given them do not need them.

Doctors and psychiatrists prescribe all sorts of shit for individuals at the drop of a hat... Then the meds start interacting with one another and having side effects and they start prescribing new meds to address the new 'symptoms' and changing around the dosages and experimenting with different combinations of drugs... One big toxic chemical concoction....

I had a friend who was put on 4 different strong drugs by his psychiatrist, one was a VERY strong anti-psychotic. This friend was a nice kid his whole life and a genuine good guy that never gave anyone trouble over anything. The medications they had him on totally zapped his personality and when we were around him he would just speak out irregularly and make all sorts of weird and out of place comments that would have us questioning his sanity. He eventually got off of some of those meds and his personality came back. Now when we're around him it feels like the same old person we had once known. Whatever meds his Psychiatrist had him on we could clearly see it was not helping him, only making him more zoned out and alienated and detached from his normal personality.

These Doctors and Psychiatrists are playing with fire most of the time. They do not intimately know the consciousness of the individuals they are prescribing these powerful & mind-altering substances to. They cannot possibly understand how multiple drugs are interacting with one another and affecting the individual. Most of these Doctors/Psychiatrists were indoctrinated to buy into this whole drug business/operation and to look for 'convenient' chemical solutions to inherently emotional/spiritual 'conflicts' that their patients are suffering from. Looking for ways to mask these 'issues' with chemical concotions rather than finding natural/homeopathic/emotional/spiritual solutions.

There are major major flaws in our system of mental health care. This whole method of looking for a quick & convenient fix by prescribing mind-altering, toxic, and dangerous drugs is an epidemic and causing more harm than good.

Can you imagine if there was civil unrest or a large-scale natural disaster and suddenly the pharmacies were shut-down or looted and people were not able to get their prescriptions filled and you had everyone going into withdrawal from their meds on a massive, widespread scale? It would be an absolute nightmare. I bet a lot of people would start harming themselves and many would also harm others.

Nearly all serial killers have at least two of these three things in common:

1) Bed Wetting past the age of 8

2) Seeking joy from torturing animals

3) Playing with fire and pyro activities at an early age.

There are several other important factors but these are the top 3.

serial killers are made at an early age. imo it takes quite a trauma to make one. intense sexual abuse or physical abuse. still that doesn't explain it all, as many people endure those things and turn out to be good human beings.
seems like serial killers are a special breed that somehow get infected with pure evil or something. i don't think mind drugs have anything to do with it. a serial killer is dif than some punk who just flips the fk out and goes on a one time killing spree.

Re: There was a thread which asked (paraphrased), "What is a common characteristic among serial Killers?"
The point really wasn't how many pills the person was on or whether these were the proper ones but rather who would actually take them without absolute need.

Well people generally see Doctors and Psychiatrists as 'authority' figures and will then concede to their recommendations regarding health care decisions. So if a Doctor or Psychiatrist recommends a drug or thinks it's a good idea, the patient/client who is generally uninformed will likely be willing to go along with the recommendation with the belief that the medical professional knows what he or she is doing. Often there is little to no warning given to the patient/client about the side effects or the potentially dangerous consequences that can occur from the chemical side effects & interactions.

Also, what happens if a person's medication makes them start having psychotic behavior or if a person is on multiple medications that are interacting with one another and causing new symptoms and behaviors, and the doctor/psychiatrist has no way of knowing if the meds are causing the behavior or if it's the individual's consciousness/personality responsible for the new behavior, and then they decide to start prescribing more meds to address the new 'problems'... It just seems like a very dangerous game that gets played....

I had the same questions when I would talk with my other friends about our friend described in my earlier post... It's like how the hell could his Psychiatrist have possibly known how his 4 medications were interacting with one another in the different dosages and how they were influencing/affecting my friend's personality & behavior? I don't see how it would be humanly possiblbe for anyone to know how 4 different types of drugs are affecting an individual. It's hard enough empathizing with another individual's consciousness even when that person is sober, but when you start throwing multiple mind-altering chemicals (drugs) into the mix? I think it would be damn near impossible to understand what behavior/emotions are the result of that person's true nature/character as opposed to which ones were influenced by the drugs and the various interactions....
