I know it sounds corny but it worked for me. What kind of work do you do....I did computer desktop support and because I was around people all the time it really helped fill in the emotional voids. I bet if you can hang-on a few more months you'll start to feel better. |

Big cities are fucking terrible, the people, the buildings, the culture, it all sucks. I was in a job in the city for 3 months before I quit, couldn't take that shit anymore. Going back to school and furthering my education so I can get the fuck out of here and back to a smaller town. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 37268839 Yes. The traffic here is unbelievably bad! It is not worth the aggravation to travel at certain times of the day. also, I do not know my way around. I am beginning to make sense of the roads. I too want to further my education. |

If you have $100 to spare, buy a tomtom gps for your car. I did and I am able to get around my city now without panic attacks. Maybe it will help you. |

I would imagine the work would be tedious,...music helps the time go by faster.....earbuds or a small radio would be nice if allowed. Are there any company programs that will allow you to cross-train...or even travel? When I first entered the US Navy,...it took about a year before I got used to my new way of life in the end I had made about 6 close friends and dated a few girls.....but in the beginning it can be very lonely and you feel heartsick for something normal. Don't be too hard on yourself....allow yourself to feel crummy for awhile. I'm sorry your feeling this way. |

I have thought about seeing a psychologist about the failed relationship and the role I played. I just realized I do not want to feel pain. I makes no sense to fight it - either way I am going to feel it. I like the idea to allow myself to feel crummy for awhile. |
