Also interesting, on April 10th in 1815 Mount Tambora volcano begins a three-month-long eruption, lasting until July 15. The eruption ultimately kills 71,000 people and affects Earth's climate for the next two years.

And just yesterday, we had a 7.0 mag. earthquake in Indonesia, don't have data if the volcano has shown activity since then, or lately...
