One more reason why Linux is better

Linux has conky, a real time heads up display that tells you anything and everything you might ever want to know. I run two conkies. The one on my left screen tells me basic system info, processor usage, cpu processes, disc info, memory usage,and memory processes. The right conky gives me every ip that is connected to me, and basic network info such as up/down speed, and my own ip.

I'm not going to lie, it isn't particularly easy to get conky set up just how you want it. But it is cool.
