Be the preppers you say you are! Quoting: Anonymous Coward 33382770 Srsly... Definitely CS for most things, but I have discovered over the past couple of years that for some things CS isn't strong enough. For those times I have used oil of oregano with fantastic results, so that is my back-up plan. Also, if a pandemic is coming for sure, get your gut health in tip top shape as soon as you can. Take probiotics and eat high quality plain yogurt. If you're not already supplementing Vitamin D, I can tell you that I take 8,000 units a day. It is widely reported to help prevent flu, although CNN says thats not true, so it just depends who you believe. [link to www.illuminateme.org] Most people are deficient and it takes at least a month to get up to baseline, so if I were you, I'd get started now. Cut sugar right out of your diet! Alkalize your system and take your daily diet very seriously. Go to bed early and sleep 8 to 10 hours. A pandemic is not something to fool around with, you need to take as much stress as possible off your immune system and make that a priority. Healthy gut, pure food, alkaline diet, plenty of rest, and Vitamin D. Wow, a ton of great advice in this post! |

The exception has a R294K mutation in the NA protein that has been linked to resistance in N2 and N9 flu subtypes, which is concerning, the team wrote. Link... [link to www.cidrap.umn.edu] |

This high rate highlights the testing limitations and heavy bias for severe hospitalized cases. Expanded surveillance is urgently require, which involves actual testing of contacts. The large number of cases over a wide area and the absence of poultry contact in most cases suggests the H7N9 is currently transmitting human to human in a sustained manner.
