Ovomit has figured out who needs "fairness" when you own all of the media anyway. It was only after ovomit was elected that all of the media gave up the pretense of "fairness." Why push an issue when you already own it?

It needs to die already. The best thing for the world would be the collapse of the American Empire. The former USA could then break up into independent nations.

It's going to be a slow, drawn out death, though. I'm betting within the next decade, there will be some breakup. The good news from my point of view is, as the federal System collapses, the Empire will withdraw its minions and money to the cities where its Welfare Class is. All the more impetus for outlying regions to secede as DC no longer supplies them with dollars.

There will have to be some catalyst which pushes it over the edge. Nuclear bomb in a major city, New Madrid, race riots, the end of the Petro-dollar. All could do it. Or maybe something from the heavens?

Glass-Steagal kept the banks and brokerages SEPARATE.

After Clinton repealed the "Glass-Steagal Act of 1935" banks an brokerages had free reign of the markets...including the REAL ESTATE MARKETS.
This allowed them to create the DERIVATIVES and inflate a HUGE bubble via low cost mortgages to people who couldn't pay them back.
The derivatives were basically a highly leveraged gambling casino, and still are for the banks to make money from betting who will pay and who will not.

These were and are called CREDIT DEFAULT SWAPS...
...and you can EXCLUSIVELY thank Bill Clinton for enabling this gambling casino with his banker buddies and lobbyists.

...which lead to our current economic clusterf*ck.
