That was my thought when I saw the video. In all this doom fog and vicious in-fighting, it is reassuring that humanity still has the ability to take mercy and to set aside differences to help each other. In this case, giving a kid an extreme emotional boost in a dark hour.

Now if we can just all act like this maybe we could start fixing things instead of blaming each other for it getting this far to begin with.
