Here it seems the antichrist (probably the new age messiah)will exalt himself above all known gods (especially the Christian one) and instead will pay tribute to a 'strange' god that none of his ancestors knew.

To me this seems to be another hint that during the tribulation there will be forces visible that were not before.I think this will be satan and his angels,posing as highly advanced ET's that demand worship in the end.

No we believe they are demons because we have good reasons to.They betray themselves in how they often disappear into thin air,walk through walls,try to pass off their glowing spirit orbs as space ships etc.
