Lincoln also had his Government print its own currency as well.This certainly pissed off the London bankers(think Rothchilds) who were offering Lincoln loans at between 24%-36% to rebuild after the civil war and may in fact led to his assassination as well.

History repeating itself?

Allowing Banks to loan the money to Gov. has turned free men into debt slaves the world over.

After all,if the Banks are willing to lend a sum (say 500 million)plus the interest on that sum to a Gov. than why not just say "thanks for the info" and than go and print the agreed on sum (500 million)?
