"More than once, wars have started by accident. This is a very serious situation." If a war did break out, McCain said, "have no doubt about it: South Korea would win; we would win if there was an all-out conflict." "Who Dares Wins" |

He was speaking after an American defence official revealed the US has delayed the testing of an intercontinental ballistic missile in an effort to defuse the situation. "Who Dares Wins" |

The Tauremini (OP) User ID: 36829606 United States 04/07/2013 08:56 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I don't like that smug McCain. In fact he's on my top three political dislike list but I gotta give him credit for saying what he said. This launch has fuck up written all over it Quoting: The Dudester Same. One of three things will happen here: (1) The launch will be successful and will raise a new round of concerns and anxieties in the region. (2) The launch will be a f**k up and they'll test the nuke that's being readied to save face. (3) Both the launch and the nuke test will be successful and will embarrass the U.N (there's nothing else they can do to North Korea they haven't already done, short of bombing it). Sorry, getting lazy about signing in. Its gonna be huge. I don't like that smug McCain. In fact he's on my top three political dislike list but I gotta give him credit for saying what he said. The Tauremini (OP) User ID: 36829606 United States 04/07/2013 09:01 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | A strange question, but what are your 'gut feelings' on the situation over there this time? A lot of people tend to trust their instincts over the news sometimes. As far as my instincts go on this one, they're 50/50. Not quite sure what to expect. "Who Dares Wins" |

Quoting: ReVbo™ hahaha, what ahout Hague? Is he any more reputable? Don't know the guy, but I would imagine one doesn't get to be Foreign Secretary of the UK without being chocked to the gills full of bullshit. If this war happens, it's because somebody wanted it to happen. Otherwise, why are we paying $600B a year to have the best military on earth, which I would imagine should be able decipher between a test and the real deal? I'm not preemptively calling false flag, but this won't be an accidentally-started war. Stakes are waaaaaaaaaayyyyyyy too high. The Tauremini (OP) User ID: 36829606 United States 04/07/2013 09:19 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I think as the week progresses I'll have a stronger feeling either way. Admittedly, there is an inkling that the change made to South Korea's "rules of engagement" recently make this time very different. There is no longer any approval required from higher up the echelon (SK gov't or US forces) to retaliate as the SK troops personally see fit. That alone makes things a bit more dicey.. It's interesting how closely it coincided with Cyprus and the Euro-Zone Brussels coup d'etat. Then again, it could be genuine and we might be looking down the barrel of a loaded regional war.. At one point MSM was telling everyone that experts were saying " we are monitoring the missiles, if we see any fueling of missiles we will take action" What happened to all that? Now it's a test. I don't believe it for a second. |

"They are the source of the problem, and the only way to solve this is for them to take a step back." He said that the White House won't be surprised by any additional missile launch by North Korea, which has been part of its repeated pattern. Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) expressed worries over the possibility of another major war in Korea. "The politics in South Korea are changing by the day regarding North Korea, so if there's some provocation, it won't be business as usual by South Korea," he told NBC News. "I could see a major war happening if the North Koreans overplay their hand this time, because the public in South Korea, the United States, and I think the whole region, is fed up with this guy (Kim Jong-un)."
