QUESTION: Do the soldiers in the North Korean army really know what they are in for if war breaks out with U.S and South Korea?

Uh... WTF do you think our tanks have been doing in Afghanistan for the last 10 fucking years? You think that country is a flat plain? Look at a map some time...

The entire country is brainwashed into believing they can defeat the U.S. Then again we've been fighting the Afghans for 12 years now. Longer than Vietnam. How can they not think that.

Sorry my friend but you have been buying into too much of your own country's propaganda too.
Don't underestimate NK, it didn't go so well last time. Also look at the history, Vietnam, Afganistan, Iraq, Cuba...... You didn't manage to 'crush' them and NK are more advanced than all of them.

NK's most potent weapon (I don't include their nukes, because once used, they bring very bad stuff down on NK, so as a weapon, a potent weapon, it's more Pyrrhic than potent) is their special forces, 90k strong. Consider, we have 191k total in the Marines, counting every Marine on active duty, combat mission-oriented or not. The NK special forces are 90k of suicide SEALS ultralite. Except the martyrdom training ramps up their status to SEALS lite, for sure.

Think of jihadists with special forces training, weapons, transport and communications. Think of these jihadists trained in the use of chemical and biological and, perhaps, dirty nuke weapons. Several years ago one of their special forces subs ran aground in South Korea. The entire crew and special forces contingent committed suicide, or were killed by the officers, who then killed themselves.

This was during an operation in "peacetime," a roundtrip ticket mission, not a mission they were accomplishing on a one-way ticket to Japan or South Korea. Heck, they've probably got a contingent or several thousand or so just tooling around on merchant ships with certain missions to accomplish if they get their coded message, which I believe is a video of Un dunking on Bill Lambier. But I digress.

Those special forces will be trouble. I can imagine that U.S. special forces are already in North Korea, mapping out sites, trying to locate entrance sites into tunnels in certain areas, watching ports.

No matter how it plays out, it has been interesting, and an education. Just today my daughter and I talked about it. I tried to give her the best 15-minute history I could. I think I have a grasp on it all, which is to say,
