I love tuning the HAM bands on shortwave and listening to some thing that sounds like some guy in his bunker reading the Bible. Sounds scary. Like the world really did end. What's the range on those things anyway? Hams can talk across thousands of miles around the world with a good setup it was the Internet at one point
