Quoting: Anonymous Coward 36653642 I wonder if it is a game of misdirection: China and Russia playing calm and quiet so we focus on DPRK. Meanwhile, Venezuela and Cuba are "counseling" DPRK to not get too crazy. Then Iran stirs pot a little causing a look over there too. In any good game of chess, you make your opponent look at major pieces and lure them into forgetting the weaker ones. Then, make a splash with a pawn somewhere along the line that distracts the opponent into opening up an opportunity for the major piece. Checkmate. I hope this isn't the case here, but given that US POTUS can't seem to play diplomatic chess worth shiat I'm concerned that the Pawns are making us move our big guns away from where they really need to be. SK Forces on high alert for imminent missle launch.... I was at a party a few years ago... there was this drunk guy out on the back deck of this house... cold, crappy weather. He was all by himself. The idiot had a bunch of bottle rockets... he would take one in his hand, light the fuse, and throw it in the air in a panic. The problem was that before the fuse would light the bottle rocket, the weight of the rocket would take hold and the rocket would reverse directions... pointing back to the ground. Actually, pointing back to the deck, and more specificly the drunk dumbass who had thrown it in the air to begin with. I watched with horror and amusement as this idiot unsuccessfully tried to dodge one bottle rocket after another... only quitting when one literrally flew down his shirt and exploded. When I think of little Kim... I think of the dumbass drunk. Oh hell I've done that in my back yard before...didnt go down my shirt though...It hit my gas grille and started a fire on the deck....had to put it out with my beer... I'm tired of waiting, somebody push the damn button already! Keep your 72 virgins, give me one old biker chick. |

SK Forces on high alert for imminent missle launch.... A missile test while this is going on just doesn't make sense. Why would NK be conducting a missile test? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 27487522 To provoke US into using military power to ruin it and getting perfect excuse for war. War can not start like that. Imagine now Obama orders troops to attack north like 'he talked too much'. It can not be like this so they stir up some sort of excuse event to persuade troops on both sides that they fight for good. To raise morale. kk |

SK Forces on high alert for imminent missle launch.... N. Korea finishes preparations for missile launch: Seoul officials Quoting: Anonymous Coward 37685731 By Kim Eun-jung SEOUL, April 9 (Yonhap) -- North Korea has completed preparations for a mid-range missile launch from its east coast, Seoul officials said Tuesday, as the country readies for what many suspect is another provocative act amid heightened tension on the Korean Peninsula. South Korean forces have been on high alert for an imminent missile launch by the communist nation, which was seen moving two Musudan missiles to its east coast last week and mounting them on mobile launchers. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 27487522 I believe they want to provoke a response, i.e., Japan (or U.S.) shooting it down. At that moment, they will feel justified in crashing their satellite and it's 'mystery' payload into the atmosphere above the east coast. They'll detonate the payload (EMP device) and our country will collapse within hours. Happy stuff, right? |

SK Forces on high alert for imminent missle launch.... You can't go around puffing out your chest, spouting off all these threats, telling embassies to evacuate your people and that war is imminent and THEN say, "by the way - we are just doing a missile test". They are provoking SK, Japan and the US - who will bomb their "missile test" before it even starts? Or does everyone just wait and watch and see if it takes off? I do not think anyone is going to wait and see. If they go through with it, game over - I hope they are prepared to be wiped off the face of the planet. |

Happy stuff, right? The satellite will be positioned over the eastern U.S. (Washington, D.C. specifically) tommorrow, April 10th...the same date (our time zone) as the DPRK gave for foreign diplomats to leave. So, not as far-fetched as you might imagine. |

Happy stuff, right? i don't know about the emp, could be, but i agree on the rest.. some say usa need an excuus well they didn't need 1 with afghan/irak and libya, nk already gave enough excuse, neither of those 3 country's threatened to nuke usa, and nk did.. need more excuse? there is way more to this, i think usa has a huge $ problem, and china and russia made a deal, russia mid east and china pacific, first nk to start a war and later china with a sneak attack, some guy before me posted the same idea i agree on that, it's a big chess game and china is not our friend, they know usa is about to go down $, they know usa will never be able to repay the debt and soon also can't buy china stuff anymore.. |
