no panic here... Yokohama is basically a part of Tokyo Metropolis ... No idea what you're really talking about :p Japanese don't panic, anyway.

Cameron is the new Kim.

Plenty of money for Dear Leader Margaret Thatcher's funeral.

Ten million for security.

She will probably need it. She had a lot of enemies.

So do the rest of them. Blair will probably pay homage.

There's no way with an event this serious that this was simply an "accident". I'm sure there are plenty of steps needed to happen before even considering posting it publicly. This smells of a test of population mentality and increasing fear mongering.

No panic in this part of Japan either. If it wasn't for Twitter at first, and then some news after on a website, I wouldn't even known that. Well I guess that happens when you don't watch tv hahaha! But at least here nobody really panicked or anything similar.

Would be funny to go up to a Jap today and shout BANG.....
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 26448516

No it wouldn't be funny. You shouldn't find it "funnier" than it would be had your immediate area been under a watch and your town freaked out the night before and a Japanese person came up to you and yelled "Bang!" with a big grin.

I suspect that would piss you off.

And, agree with posters that this is indicative of extreme anxiety which can lead to huge mistakes by trigger finger people, additionlly leading to real danger in that those that panic can hurt each other by accident.

It is also why it is perhaps good that Obama (who I have also been critical of) isn't hiding under a desk but rather acting like his usual questionable way. Provided he has been ordering the military as they recommended and are everybit ready for anything.

according to the Chinese, the US, SK, and Japan are to blame for the escalations, especially with the recent US 'return to Asia' announcement

It should prompt panic. Asia could go crazy at any moment if NK launches a missile and Japan or the USA shoot it down,or miss and it hits somewhere. I would be a great scapegoat for Japans gov. though. I can see the headlines." NK missile Hits blah blah and is equivalent to 100 Hiroshima bombs." Smiling will help and just ship everything contaminated over seas. If you worry about being nuked you are crazy. Eat more fish and kelp to keep radiation out of your body, if your crazy enough to believe it can harm you. Nothing to see here, move along, your government puts your best interest first.

i hope for war and hopefully most of u haters will go also, it just comes to show that even with a major war at our feet, the world crumbling and you have people like u's who commented in this thread (not all) bitching at each other like children in a playground, no one is better than anyone, no matter who they are. No country respects its own, the governments are all thieves, murdering scum. yet u lot hate on each other cs of where ur from??? come on... sort your heads out. Its us the people a cross the world, us, ur kids, family and friends, our grandchildren of the next generation all will suffer a life of slavery, AND YOU ALL STILL BITCH ON AT EACH OTHER!! its times like this when we need not only to share information, but to remain on a level with each other so that if anything big is to go down from any part of the globe, we'll have the knowledge of it here. Not aload of banter. Please think.

^^True^^

The composure of the Japanese after the quake was very admirable. Instead of looting & killing, they came together.
