Just put forth a balanced budget, and I imagine there wouldn't be such a fight in Congress. How hard is it to spend within your means? Raising taxes is bullshit. How much more of my hard earned money must I give the government before they are satisfied? 40%? 50%? 90%? Before taxes are raised, every program that is not vital to the existence of America should be eliminated. Just my 2 cents.

They aren't going to fall for that bullshit again.

Did you even read his "spending cuts?" The vast majority aren't cuts - they are hopes. The only new money would be from enormous tax increases.

And guess what?

That "1.8 trillion" is over 10 fucking years. That averages out to 180 billion a year - and we are 1400 billion in the hole for THIS YEAR ALONE.

His "1.8 trillion" in "deficit reduction" includes bullshit like "savings on interest from reduced debt." In other words, the tax increases he wants, 10 years down the line, will be reducing our interest payments somewhat.

That is a "cut" in his mind.
