This whole Cheney story is total BS. The guy's been sitting in a cell the last three months. One of his puppets either hasn't gotten the message or is going rogue.

In March, New York hosted a secret meeting of North Korea and the United States. (Source: The Foreign Policy Journal).

The U.S. were represented by Clifford Hart (he represents the country in the six-party talks on the denuclearization of North Korea), and North Korea sent it’s deputy permanent representative to the UN, Han Song Rel. The meeting was held in the framework of the "New York channel" of interaction between the U.S. and North Korea in absence of formal diplomatic relations.

And then, on Monday it was reported that North Korea may be preparing for the fourth nuclear test, and U.S. and South Korea agreed on a symmetric counterattack in case of aggression from Pyongyang.

ATTN: In mid-March, the NK secretly meets with the U.S., and in April the NK suddenly starts banging its shoe on the table – a coincidence? Hardly ... The whole performance with NK threats is playing along the U.S. scenario to justify the deployment of military forces to the border with China and the presence of naval ships there.

Before modern history -- say, 1939 -- the German people were fixated on the Jews: anything and everything wrong with the world was laid at the Jews' doorstep.

Don't the Cheney-haters feel mildly uncomfortable -- guilt-wracked and panicky is a lot to hope for -- ascribing such evil to a single person, who by all accounts is an intelligent and nice guy -- strong-willed and powerful, but hey, are we punishing that?
