You didn't mention where you were. Could it be that you need to move to somewhere better or safer? Moving isn't easy, but it may be what you need. Just a thought.

If you are retired your pension should at least be able to pay to keep a roof over your head, correct?

Walmart is running commercials now and they are committed to hiring so many veterans by Memorial Day. I would apply online and also talk to the MGR at whatever stores are in your area.

I know it may not be what you were looking for but it will keep groceries on the table and keep you active until something better comes along.

I said a prayer you will find something, BUT...
you need to get OFF the computer.
Hit the BRICKS and start knocking on doors.
You will have a job within a week,
unless you are a convict or a psycho.

Everywhere I go I see help wanted signs.
You may not get the job you want,
but until your dream job appears,
you may have to do what most of the rest of us do,
work at jobs we hate.

It has already been given to you. If you have prayed to the Lord Jesus Christ, then through Christ your prayer has been answered. Maybe you just don't realize it yet.

Probably not the job you want, but the Lord has provided you with an opportunity to begin at the bottom. Maybe you're seen a help wanted sign at a diner, or know an elderly couple from church that need their gutters cleaned out. Go to work doing anything you can and don't worry about the payscale. It will come to you as you keep occuppied and as you gain experience. Maybe cleaning a couple's gutters will lead to you starting your own maintenance company that will thrive through Angie's list. Possibly pushing carts in the parking lot of Walmart will lead to you becoming a store manager.

All I can say is God has provided you everything you need. Be thankful and pray for guidance that you will recognize what is in front of you.
