I have no problem considering that a creator is possible but also accept that it might be speculation and a "filler" answer for what's out there. I don't have a problem with Christianity per se as I do with those that practice it with bias. I mean, as we learn more and more about how we got here and, for that matter, what "here" is, many Christians allow God to take a receding amount of credit. I think the problem most people have with religion is that it revolves around a ritual of praising something\someone that has a constantly changing definition. If you were sure that what you believed before was the truth and then you modify that belief so many times, eventually, it loses merit. According to those with that belief, we weren't created by aliens... until now, where we were created by aliens BUT God created them and therefore, the Bible must be true. I just don't get it. At what point does one find the humility to just admit we're rather clueless about some things and the only way to find answers is to approach the search with an open mind? |

During my childhood, I was exposed to almost every religion on the planet by my mother, who was a truth seeker, and tried many religions from 7th Day Adventist, to the I Am, and everything in between. During my teens, I was on a quest to find a pure religion, that was not controlled by human greed, as I have always been very spiritual, and a truth seeker as well. I even heard the music of the spheres during this quest. I found that organized religion is pretty much bullshit, a form of control at best. I have found, all the answers you need, are inside, you just have to seek them. Quoting: Fire & Ice Everyday, in some form or another, I think about God. God is a state of mind, no more, no less. Your mind creates your God, your experiences, your enviroment, what you have learned throughout this journey called life. Evolution does not make sense to me. This planet is not old enough for the process's it would take to make a male and female, have each one survive long enough to mate, then have their offspring survive long enough to repeat the process enough times to create a species, and then do this a for the hundreds of millions of species on this planet.
