Quoting: Anonymous Coward 24817147 It's a dangerous game, but it would prove very fruitful if the see how we set up against them militarily/politically -but the only real way to sell it is to go ALL-IN!!! Close borders/warn embassies/move weapons, back all this up with continuous threats of an attack-essentially just to get their opponents strategy for defense. Crazy theory I've been floating around in my head, but god knows there are crazier one on here!! Do you know what very posible, and a much better way then what seems like the only other alturnative. I hope you are right, at least war this time would be avoided. |

Secret Transmission Detected from North Korea Within hours of South Korean news sources breaking a story that several Sang-Ho class submarines had disappeared from their North Korean bases, a ham radio operator named Tim, picked up a “numbers station” broadcasting on the same frequency as “The Voice of Korea” propaganda station. What makes this even more interesting is that at the tail end of the numbers transmission there was a long duration digital transmission as well.... Quoting: Anonymous Coward 18581403 [link to www.rocketcityspacepioneers.com] Snip: Simple solid-fuel rockets have several other disadvantages in relation to liquid rockets. They can't be test fired ahead of time, and once they are lit, they can't be throttled, stopped, or restarted. Meanwhile, the low-density of liquid fuels allows for lightweight fuel tanks, which saves weight and boosts a rocket's payload capacity. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 18581403 Once the missile is fueled it must be launched within a week or so - or else it will be wasted as the fuel is corrosive. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 19672960 [link to en.wikipedia.org] "The actual rocket design is a liquid fuel rocket using a hypergolic combination of unsymmetrical dimethylhydrazine as fuel, and inhibited red fuming nitric acid as oxidizer; this fuel/oxidizer combination does not vaporise like liquified hydrogen/oxygen gas at 35°C. As a result, once the fuel/oxidizer combination were fed into the missile, it could maintain a 'ready to launch' condition for several days, or even weeks, like the R-27 SLBM; however it could not be kept longer than this, because of tank corrosion caused by the red fuming nitric acid. A fueled Musudan would not have the structural strength to be land transported, so would have to be fueled at the launch site." |

You shut down Samsung, Toshiba, etc. Acer computers are made in Taiwan, which isn't too far away either. They make really good computers for super cheap. People think they are cheap computers, but they are high quality, just don't charge much for them. But all those little resistors, capacitors, all the little stuff on every circuit board comes out of korea. It will definitely raise the price of everything. |

If you have ANY age at all to you, you have watched liquid fueled rockets sit on the launch pad at Cape Canaveral, get fueled, sit and wait for the weather to clear, launch delayed, next day, same deal, sometimes launch delayed for weeks. Liquid flows. In and Out. |
