Sure, it's on it's way to the one world currency but learn how it's value works. The $ value of Beets is decided by the demand within our current currency system, the purchasing value of Beets is decided within that particular market and fluctuates just like current currencies. THE difference is simply that Beets do not belong to any particular nation or corporation and noone is supposed to be able to skim off the top, at least when no one is paying $ for them, anymore.

Also, just yesterday or so a young guy traded out 6800 Beets or something like that, traded for $ and now is likely having the time of his life. This changed the market, temporarily. Those Beets are now in circulation. Things will level out again, likely surpass their previous place until $ is phased out.
