Question about Celts
Is it possible that the Celts ever made it as far as Thailand when the tribes split?

The reason I'm asking this is because I've studied Muay Boran since I was a kid and I'm also part Irish, and I've noticed a lot of similarities between the Irish martial arts and Muay Boran.

For instance, in both cultures during a boxing match the traditional instruments are pipes, hand drums, and certain stringed instruments, for example lutes and flat harps.

Also in Irish brawling the two Irish martial arts for boxing and kicking are mixed together just like Muay Boran. They use Dornalaiocht, and Speachoireacht. When you see the two blended together it's almost as if the fighters are using Muay Boran. In Muay Boran the punches are shockingly similar to Irish boxing, even the feet movements and the way you shift your weight for a punch is the same.

Another strange coincidence is the forearm marks that all Celtic people have, not only do they have them but other Asian cultures do to, especially Thai culture.

Another strange coincidence is that Japan started working in Iron and making steel just a short time after the Celts first started. Also during World War 2 German scientists realized that some cultures in Western Asia have Celtic and Aryan features. We also know that people from Africa made it as far as Japan before the time of Christ, in fact Japanese culture is directly influenced by Judea, their language share similarities that phonetically and literally are the same, they share similar festivals, and even have references to Jews throughout their country.

Does anyone know a little about Celt or Thai history that could add some input? I've been trying to find out but Celts didn't really keep tabs on themselves back then, the only proof would come from Thai history.

Re: Question about Celts
The ancient Celts made it pretty far and wide. There are a growing number of academics that believe they very well might have made it to the American southwest and Northern Mexico, so I wouldn't see Thailand as out of the possibilities.

Yeah I've been studying for a while on the subject. The only thing is that there isn't a written record, we have a dark age in the Celt's history before 700 BCE and around the time of Christ's death.

In Miamisburg Ohio there is a burial mound built exactly identical to one built in Britain. The first time I saw it my mind was blown and I've been trying to prove that they came here ever since. In the Iriquois language it has many, many similarities to Gaelic and Irish Celtic, however the mainstream archaeology community scoffs the idea off that they were here, even though ten years ago they scoffed the same at the idea that Viking cultures came to the Americas before 1500 CE, yet they were proven wrong.

I'm asking about Thailand because it would give so much credibility to the idea that maybe they did make it as far as China and even the Americas.
