next they will tax FOOD,ice cream,fast food,junk food,soda pop<nyc started this>, all food with sugar,etc. the health care bill gives the gov the "right" to tax anything. ppl think smoking is bad. i saw a tv show about myths,smoking was 1 of them. the nation having less trees now than b4 johnny appleseed is also. we had more meadows thruought our forrests. why u ppl believe everything uncle-gov-know-it-all-tax-u-all says???
just wait u all think us smokers r bad ppl. wait n see what they do to us they will do too u all. tax tax tax. lets see mcdonalds haapy meal taxed yep cali, soda pop taxed yep ny state, regulate how much u can eat or drink yep ny city.
Quoting: jazz 22000823 damn FINALLY somebody gets it !!! thank you it's about regulation of products, not a debate about smoking. but of course Obama would like people to see it as a debate on smoking because it helps him get to his goal. He taxes the most controversial product on the market in his divide and conquer tax strategy. I've been with you the whole time. Like any necessity (for most smokers it sadly is) its going to get taxed as much as possible.
