In a nuclear war, China might as well be naked Indians with bow and arrows. They don't even come remotely close to our nuclear capabilities.

Ok, not a troll or shill... It's called Critical Thinking.

perhaps china is behind this?

Didn't someone somewhere say after the Sandy Hook thing, that China wanted the US disarmed? I think I saw that thread somewhere on GLP. Well, look at what's taking precedent... GUN CONTROL... An attempt to disarm and take away our second amendment rights. Keep in mind CHINA pretty much owns the USA at this point.

You have North Korea blatantly stating they want to bomb us and are waving "weapons of mass destruction" in our faces and yet we are doing NOTHING. They had no concrete PROOF that IRAQ had WMD's and yet they went over there and " took care of business":". Now we have our government sending freaking DENNIS RODMAN over to NK, FREAKING JOKE! Our POTUS is out golfing and enjoying a blues concert while the mainstream media keeps scaring the crap out of everyone with NK's threats and posting commentary by Dick Chaney saying we are in "Deep Doo Doo" REALLY? So are we supposed to be afraid or are they trying to make this into some sort of joke?

Or is there another agenda at play... Maybe make NK look like the problem child or puppet when China is really pulling the strings? They want to take our guns. They want the US to pay up and perhaps our POTUS is sitting back and letting this happen. Maybe I am wrong. Maybe I am thinking too much but, this whole situation does not seem right.

Here's the game plan for China. Let US and NK duke it out, US will drive the NK back to the Yalu, and millions of screaming red Chinamen will come streaming across the Yalu to take back NK. Again. But this time they won't leave.

It still is weird how this just came out of no where and escalated to nuclear war. I don't understand why the world is saying he will test a missle when he had never mentioned anything being a test. Almost as if the news is trying to keep people calm. You would think they would do the opposite and hype it up more for ratings. If this is a distraction as many are saying they should have us petrified and glued to or tv. Something isn't right this time. Not the usual extortion methods this is more.

THe only reason China even cares is because it does not want millions of starving refugees flooding over its borders.

China could have....and should have....done something about the Kim family of tyrants long ago.

Really too late now. This latest one is pounding his chest and has to prove his manhood to the generals who supported him over his other older brothers...who no doubt are just as power-crazed as the of rest of them.

I doubt that. There is only one thing that China is interested in these days, growing in economic power. North Korea is not making them any money, more like costing them. They want an end to North Korea just as much as everyone else, but just like in China, they can't openly admit they want to end Communism, because that means admitting their government is wrong. That is why they have been very slowly evolving to a free market society over the last 20 years

Th Chinese elite who are raking in vast wealth whilst they can, have to maintain the pretense of a communist nation to the masses so NK serves a role. China will in cue course jettison the "communist" party and go full on free market, with an established rich elte of former Maoists. By then, NK will have served its purpose and be long merged with SK.
