When I was with a psychiatrist in Argentina we starting talking and he mentioned Stephen Hawking. I said to him that, by coincidence, the night before I nearly decided to send him a letter saying that a continuous line could not exist because it was a collection of dots being universes etc etc. That afternoon I was given a book, H G Wells, The time machine. Look at page one or page two, it had the exact definition that I was using!!!!!!!!!!!
