Is Cannabis use (any) a sin?

If it feels like a sin in your heart, it probably is. I have a problem with addiction and used to smoke weed a lot. In my heart, I feel like it's a sin when I change my state of mind like this, especially when I binge and smoke all day. Here's some scripture that might help.

1 Peter 5:8-11

8 Be sober , be vigilant ; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about , seeking whom he may devour : 9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. 10 But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while , make you perfect , stablish , strengthen , settle you. 11 To him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen

If you want to follow your heart, go ahead. You cannot follow scripture at the same time though.

When I see Pharma, I see it as Pharmaceutical companies...
Y'know, the ones pumping out the trillions of pain pills, anti-depressants, etc. Prescription drugs are still drugs too...

Imho, I'd say the big Pharma is doing a tremendous amount more than a single plant ever could alone.

It can be, but it's not the drugs fault. Personally when I smoke, I look around me and appreciate the gift that is life more. Every little thing seems so much more precious.

Jesus says we must be reborn in spirit to enter the kingdom of god. Born of the spirit not of the flesh. Not of this world. Therefore it's only a distraction from the truth that we belong to god and live to serve his glory not ours

If the usage of Cannabis does not interfere with how you worship God in spirit and in truth, why is it a distraction?

Well as others have stated. We must be sober and vigilant because of the devil. In Ephesians u can find info about being sober and obtaining the spiritual armor of god that protects us from the devils attacks. And may I add control. Fallen angel control of our minds

The bible clearly states that he is the protector of the children of God.
