I take it the OP owns a dog and is not accustomed to dog meat. The population of dogs outweigh Deer 10 fold. Your post is more or less the fact that China is eating dogs instead of beef?

AND even if it was a hoax, I find it ODD that you anyone would WANT to eat a soup that looks like it has a boiled baby in it. I guess this doesn't disturb you?

But, back to the main issue in THIS thread, trying to stop the boiling alive/torture of animals before eating because they think it "imparts stamina" into the meat.

Because pigs (or insert ANY animal here) are maltreated, it means nobody should give a shit about helping these dogs? Can you not care about more than one thing at a time? People boil alive lobster all the time, the only difference is they are not cuddly. get over yourself people. if one animal is okay to eat then all are. I do hate that they dont put them down first but still.

All animals are smart and dont deserve to die. Its one thing to eat an animal for survival but its another thing to eat animals for pleasure and status. When they eat the monkey brains its a sign your wealthy or some shit. I met a Chinese girl and she told me all what she had eaten. Wow it was crazy. DOG,cat,turtle,eagle,owl,many water fowl,snakes,rodents of many kinds and even large cat. She said her parents eat monkey brains because her parents were wealthy. Once a year they have a pot luck in the streets and you eat your neighbors strange cooking.

I personally can CARE about more than one damn issue at once. I don't like how veal calves are treated, and I have seen data suggesting lobsters can indeed feel pain so I'm not fond of them being steamed and boiled alive either! So when I can try to effect a change for them I do. What I don't do is say, well lobsters are boiled alive, so I guess I won't give a shit about veal calves, or broiler hens are kept in small cages so I don't care about pigs being kept in birthing crates. WTF people!
