Uh no. If I were to get information on North Korea by the major media it would only be on actions that they have undertook recently. What I know about North Korea comes from defectors from North Korea, journalists who have been inside North Korea and a few other sources like some historians. It's nice that you take that condescending tone though.

North Korean defectors have provided us with a clear picture of what life is like inside North Korea. School Children are walked to school whilst being forced to hold pictures of the eternal president, Kim il Sung and the ex dear leader, Kim Jong il.
If a political dissident is caught, they are executed and three generations of their family are sent to a forced labour camp for an unknown amount of time, usually they starve to death before their sentence is up.
Strict curfews, bans on all outside technology, all western movies, games, literature nothing is allowed. They have banned the personal life of their citizens. This is a state which is worse than 1984, you want to defend a state like this? Silly me though, it's probably all because the United States bullies them, right?

op...i am surrounded by people who are evil just like some of the nutcase posters here on glp. surrounded by racist who judge me by the color of my skin and not the content of my character. i even live in a upper middle class area.

no matter where i live it's the same thing. i've always had a high vibration and for me to be around these types of people drains me of energy.

i don't know how much more i can take.
it brakes my heart to see my beautiful 8 year old daughter have to grow up in this wicked world.

i remember being younger then she is now how fake this world is. growing up in new york, i would walk with my mom and see all these gray industrial buildings, filth and waste. drunken bums all over the place. i was NEVER afraid, i just knew something wasn't right.

i didn't even want to go to school. even in 3rd grade,
i would pretend to be sick so my mom could pick me up just so we could go to the park by the east river, eat fresh fruit and be with nature.

then we would have to go home to our 15th floor apartment in the projects and watch other miserable people destroy themselves with drugs and violence.

all i want is a nice home by the lake (no gated communities like now) to be with nature once again and live in peace without these evil parasites and their minions.
