For these are not chance "sightings", they are intentional appearances. They want us to see them.

Why not just come down and talk to us directly?

First contact is a very shocking thing. Perhaps they know it isn't best to force it upon us all at once. How would we react to ships unexpectedly descending upon the planet? How would the media react? How would the military react?

Pretty orbs of light in the sky are non-threatening. And it is not immediately obvious what they are. Yet they give us all the information we need to conclude that they are in fact extra-terrestrial in origin. But it is up to us to figure it out for ourselves.

NO.

Not the way they moved.

They could be hand-held hologram technology.

There is NO WAY that a craft could have done the manevours that it did with my first contact!

It was either hand-held holographic cannon, or it was the real thing!!!

I wanted to test my GoPro in low light last night, so I set it on the roof of my car for 5mins.
Couldn't see a damn thing when I transferred it to my computer.

I used Cineform Studio and added the night vision filter, then exported to Sony Vegas where I screwed around with contrast and brightness.
The last 30 seconds of the video a bright light appears in the sky, and moves very quickly, then shoots off to the left in a 90 degree turn.
I slowed the video down 50% and it's still bloody fast.

I'm thinking it was an insect, but its pretty trippy!
