BUT in the absence of having someone with you to help you get rid of it, here's what WILL work: commit yourself--your life for now and eternity to Jesus, ask for forgiveness for any wrong things (sins) you committed, forgive anyone who's wronged you and invite the power of God--the Holy Spirit to evict that thing and God Himself will get it out of you. At some point you allowed it access to you, now you tell it to go and tell God you want it out and He'll liberate you from the harassment you've been living under.
